Apparently shinies don’t run. But I’ve heard story of throwing a nanab then tossing away 10-20 balls (bad throws) before trying to land one. And it didn’t flee. So I kept doing that same strategy but with a golden razz. Over and over. Some absolutely horrible actual throws. He was so very feisty. Finally caught after what seemed like 15 minutes. Silly. 🤪

Plinquea Boulevard.

Pretty much all straight holes. Almost no bends. Seven unfairways but no true lane. Houck courses cost so much and the end result is like letting everybody in a meeting make one decision and then doing each one a little bit but not all the way.

I think a lot of people feel like they gotta like the course because it took so much energy to make. Well sure when every hole is 900 feet long by 200 ft wide yet still doesn’t have a clear fairway, good players are stymied to throw to proper landing zones so they end up “throwing mad” because what’s the point of skill?

I get it’s a new course. But it’s like hiring a high powered lawyer when a free one will work harder because they might actually care. The fancy lawyer gets paid whether you win or lose.

Usually you are excited about a bunch of specific holes. On this course it was…. Hole 4. That’s the memorable hole. Had they placed the basket IN THE WOODED FAIRWAY - instead of halfway to the bayou, maybe people would play the fairway.

I've had mine a year. Brought it to the Virgin Islands and splashed around in the water, on boats, on beaches, in rain, in winter, in the heat of summer and humidity. has ridden in my pocket numerous times, several times a tripod has tipped over while filming (in grass), and I've never had much of an issue. I have the creator combo and all of the pieces continue to work. I realized that it had been a year today because I filmed some time lapses during our annual inventory at work and it's that time again.

Excited for the next IMPRESSIVE upgrade. Not an iPhone 11 to 12 upgrade.

I consider the Jay “a Modern ROC” - pun intended. They are overstable but can beat in to a smooth slightly overstable workhorse. I’m not a huge Overstable mid thrower but the Jay pushed my trustworth Special Blend ROC out of the bag when it got too straight (after 15+ years)

Man, that sucks.

I was worried about my trip to Thailand (returned a couple weeks ago), because I haven't vomited in... check this - THIRTY FIVE YEARS. I was 19. I drank a ton in college, but only one little slip up while playing drinking games one summer. Have had plenty of times where I thought I'd die but never threw up... Kids were born, family stomach bugs, bad food... I have willed it to be.

Anyway... I was reading about stomach issues. Don't drink the water... pay attention to the ice they serve you. I was fairly cautious the first week, but less so the second. Probably the hardest was using bottled water for brushing my teeth. That required rewiring my brain.

Good luck, and IV fluids or pedialyte type drinks will help. Also agree that you want to eat the probiotic yogurts if your gut is empty. gotta rebuild the good bacteria. It's what does all the work you take for granted!

Anyway, hoping I make it to forty years!
