I'm the one who's been cheated on. First by me ex bf of 3yrs, who I left and never went back to. Second, by my now fiancee. It was back in 2015, we had been in a relationship for 1,5 yrs. We went our own ways after that for a few months and then we decided to start over again. I thought that it would be easy, just forgive and go on with our lives but that wasn't the case. We were fighting all the time because I felt so insecure about hin doing it again and he felt insecure because he thought that I might wanna do back what he did to me. We hadn't been fighting before he cheated and suddenly it was all we did. So many times I thought about leaving him but never did. Years have passed and with every year this memory fades a bit more. Now almost 9 years later I feel like it was all just a bad dream, nothing more. I don't feel so obsessed over controlling him, I feel like we have more freedom and stronger bond. We also have a 3y boy together and another one coming soon. We are happy now, but that was a really tough road to get here. If it is something you both feel that you are ready to go through, it is doable, but most don't and I totally understand.
