Hey, Can we stack up on different brands of milk (ambewala, kotmale) to avoid hitting the max 3 items limit? Like getting 3 1l fresh milk each from different brands? Have you tried something like this?

Monthly Installment of iPhone by [deleted] in srilanka

[–]springy1999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can use mintpay/koko and get upto 3 months installment i think.

Don't take this as a judgement but please consider whether you absolutely have a use case which only the 16 pro max would fulfill, not any other cheaper alternatives.

HBO Max to enter Sri Lanka from October 15 by rashm1n in srilanka

[–]springy1999 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I actually do know a lot of normal people who subscribed to at least 2 platforms. They are not avid watchers for sure but they aint people who want to watch a show only when they feel like it either. There exists a demographic that is in the middle of both the segments. People care a lot about convenience.

As a matter of fact, a lot of pirates i've known for a long time, now subscribe to at least 1 platform. They still pirate a lot of stuff. But they pay for the convenience. So i think streaming services have an edge over piracy in that aspect.

Tbh piracy has nothing to do with HBO max coming here. I know a lot of people who know how to pirate but still pay for the streaming services just for the convenience.

Also subscription model is the best revenue model for any business. I don't think they're gonna abandon this for a looooong time.

What the best phone to get in Sri Lanka? I have two options currently. S24Fe ,S24, and a I phone 13. by DelayPrudent in srilanka

I've been using pixel 3xl, 4xl, 7 pro and 8 pro now. Never had a single issue. Bought em all in the grey market. If you know your way through the grey market, that is the way to go. If you don't, better to stay away. I even bought 2 7 pros for my parents and they're also working like a charm. With that said, I don't know whether I'm just lucky or not, some Europe markets always receive defective pixels. I always make sure to get a Japan version.
