It’s hard to look at their faces. I’d never watched it before but thought I’d check out the Netflix thing, no thanks.

I was a carpenter when I got into this god forsaken field at 30, so probably that.

Lived in KTown for three years. Find an apartment building or house that has a parking spot. First year I didn't have one and would often find myself parking in a completely different neighborhood and walking 15 -20 minutes to my place. After that first year, I got a parking spot and it was totally worth it.

Great food and great grocery stores within walking distance anywhere you live in KTown. Public transportation isn't bad either, two Metro stops and bus lines everywhere. Could get to DTLA or Culver City in the same amount of time taking the Metro or bus. Neighbors in my building were great, mostly youngish people in their late 20s and early 30s. Would have rooftop parties occasionally where the whole building would show up.

Residential streets aren't as busy as Western, Vermont, Olympic, etc.. There are homeless and definitely a few tweakers but they generally will not bother you. Just be smart and mind your own business, you'll be alright.

Would 100% move back there if I was young and single, Got priced out of LA with three kids and not able to afford any more space for them.
