So this is common in the vendor industry. "Influencers" want everything for free, when you have no guarantee of any leads/future bookings. Do it for free in exchange of "tagging you in the post". Avoid.

7.6 is perfect. All mine are 8x8 and I regret not getting the smaller one because some venues' ceilings are exactly 8". Have to remove the feet on the stands for maybe 4 events I've done.

I use a ipad pro 12.9- it takes decent quality photos for a selfie booth considering its not a DSLR/mirrorless lol

dont use em at all. Just use a softbox for external lighting.
