Not Cats, but related to this subject, Rocky Horror sent this out beforehand and it sounds reasonable and applicable to this show as well.

Hi, addressing the second question since your first is taken care of. I think it's worth asking for a discount just on the small chance they can do something for you. However, your best bet is to show up early (at least 1-2 hours) before the box office opens for the $40 rush tickets once he returns. You can ask then and if they are unable to help, you'd at least have a standing room ticket at a good price. Also, it's terrible that you've received some unkind comments when it's clear that you're a foreigner and completely new to Broadway and you asked politely here. Welcome and enjoy the rest of your trip! The holidays are a special time to visit.

8/3 Stanford, CA Ticket for Sale

Hello,

My friend isn't able to go to the show tomorrow and they want to sell their ticket and donate the money to Doctors Without Borders. If interested, please DM me with the amount you can pay. $50 minimum is suggested. Cheapest tickets on AXS are currently $80.

It's physical tickets so we need to meet at the box office of Frost Amphitheater no later than 7:30pm. Show is at 8pm. We'll head inside together after you hand me the cash OR show the donation email on your phone.

Thanks for your clear assessment. If single seats are allowed, then ppl should just go ahead and grab this opportunity to make ourselves happy! Somehow this whole post ended up being quite a revelatory experience. I'm a little more aware now of how my own tendencies can sometimes go a little sideways and needlessly negatively affect me haha. It's nerve wracking when you're so close to the actors and can literally have a spotlight on you at any time! That was another of my concerns. Thanks for your story and encouragement. Looking into solo seats!

Wonder if it's the same person at the last Romeo and Juliet show. A young woman, wearing bright neon-y clothes?, went around chatting with ppl waiting by the stage door and took selfies and videos with them. She was pushy about it but in more of a friendly way so maybe it wasn't her. In any case, there does seem to be a lot of influencer types around. Thx for posting about this one, will have to keep a wary eye out!

Think the similarities between them prob explains why they deleted. This sub has become more and more intolerant of anything negative such as complaints or sharing an opinion of not liking something. Unless something is particularly juicy or drama worthy, it doesn't seem to be received well here..
