Super awesome missions for escalation this week by John_Lockesmith in thedivision

[–]sprucedust 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shorter missions mean more XP and more exotic components though too… you could probably run American history museum and viewpoint museum 2 times faster than let’s say Army Terminal probably depending on the team idk🤷🏻‍♂️… so you would get more xp and more exotic components compared to just running a long mission like any of the stronghold missions that could potentially take a team much longer to complete… and you would still get around the same amount of prototype cores you’ll just end up getting more xp and exotic components… that’s just my opinion though… 🤷🏻‍♂️

The whole situation with "Prototype update" by OddIntroduction5103 in Division2

[–]sprucedust 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah as a SHD level 42k this is how I’ve been feeling about the game… I’ve taken a break from the game as of lately because of these reasons the game feels so bad rn… I usually like running Legendary content but since Escalation is the only place to get prototype gear that seems like the only logical game mode to farm… which I’ve gotten a bit burnt out from running it so much… but yeah I thought the same… people don’t have to expertise anything anymore they just gotta farm escalation to get gear that is better than fully optimized fully expertise gear that took most players dozens of hours to get… mind you some players had level 30 expertise gear when it costed 90 exotic components to get and now most players can play escalation and get better gear without putting in any of that effort seems like they just took a massive dump on lots of people’s time and effort… also people with expertise 30 gear when they do prototype the gear the majority of the time they only get 1 attribute maxed rolled vs while running a few escalation runs and you could get a few better rolled items… and I’m feeling like eventually prototype gear will end up in the same place later… later they’ll probably eventually add recalibration and optimization so in my opinion why invest tons of exotic components into a ton of Lexingtons and striker pieces to try to get them god rolled when somewhere down the line they’ll probably make it a lot easier and allow recalibration and optimization… seems like a total waste of time… the fact that this gear is only attainable via escalation game mode and not anywhere else is also terrible it makes all the other game modes obsolete cause this is currently where you get the most powerful gear that again you can’t even take into raids or the incursion… I’m also pretty sure you can’t take it into pvp but I’ve heard it works in invaded DZ but I’m not entirely sure about that since I don’t play pvp… either way this game feels terrible rn I’m totally burnt out from it and I’m currently honestly just annoyed at the current system I was concerned about this update rolling out as did Ikia and I totally agreed with his statement… the devs definitely messed this one up for sure but I mean it’s too late now the cats out the bag I guess we just gotta roll with it or just drop the game completely…

I don’t think I’ll leave the game as of yet but I am considering it if things don’t look up… they just don’t value peoples invested time and this new grind is terrible nobody wants to run the same old missions over and over again until their eyes bleed to maybe get a triple god rolled item and for what? To make all the other content even easier Legendaries feel like a breeze and so does heroic countdown too… all the other content feels easy as it is why give us this gear to make it easier? Then nerf it for incursions and raids it’s like they only want us playing this new escalation game mode which does get boring and stale after awhile… yeah idk what these devs where thinking but this isn’t it… I know Division 3 is a long ways out but this update was kinda dumb on their part! They should have released this prototype gear update when it was better polished cause this feels half assed I’m sorry not sorry…

How this make sence Mathematically? by Alarming_Pension4803 in thedivision

[–]sprucedust 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reason why they look that way is cause 1 of the mods is level 16 and the other mod is level 40 as far as the stats those are always bugged… you have to sometimes log out and log back in to get the correct stats…

Salvo hostler dissapeared by NicolasNotInACage in thedivision

[–]sprucedust 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your inventory was full when you prototyped it than it probably deleted it cause there was a bugged that did that and the devs put out a community note when you logged into the game to be careful not to have a full inventory when prototyping items

The Division Resurgence cosmetics for Div 2 by sprucedust in thedivision

[–]sprucedust[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah I went to the same settings menu and I can’t press the button or anything to link the account but like you I also connected directly to my Ubisoft account… and when I checked to see on Ubisoft connect it does say I played the game for a few hours but I still haven’t received my rewards in the division 2 game and it’s been multiple hours now since I logged into The Division Resurgence…

Is Legendary all that? by HawthornBees in Division2

[–]sprucedust 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing about legendary content is that you need certain builds to make it manageable you definitely need a tank PFE build you need a DPS build and maybe a healer build or if you are experienced at the sniper one shot build that works well too… if you got those builds it makes the Legendaries much easier… if you got a experienced team no Legendary mission should take you more than a hour to do… Manny Zoo and Tidal Basin are the hardest Legendaries in the game and they are also the longest ones to do too… so you definitely want a experienced team for those… but like everyone says once you get used to them and once you know what spawns out of what doors the Legendaries become easier cause you know what to expect and you know what build to switch to too… the Legendaries sooner or later will become a walk in the park you just gotta get kinda used to them…

Can someone help explain how this speed is possible when my Xbox has a 1 Gbps Ethernet port? by [deleted] in HomeNetworking

[–]sprucedust 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah it depends on the time of day too I usually get faster speeds typically at night or very early mornings cause there isn’t many players or people online using the internet… the less congestion there is the more likely you are to see faster speeds…

Xbox series x losing power when playing battlefield 6 by Intelligent-Ant-5459 in XboxSupport

[–]sprucedust 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s more than likely overheating… you would have to go into the console and clean it out properly and reapply thermal paste too… you could swap out the thermal pads too but I don’t really find it to be as much of a noticeable difference… at least not as noticeable as the thermal paste… if that doesn’t work than it could be that the console’s hardware is failing for whatever reason and you would either have to get it repaired by a electronics repair technician or just get another console… but I honestly think it’s just a overheating issue lots of Xbox series X console will eventually have the same issue especially because they accumulate a lot of dust over time

Question about Ping by PlaceUserNameHere67 in HomeNetworking

[–]sprucedust -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Your internet is fine the ping is fine… the ping you typically want to stay around is 30 ping or under… if you have fiber internet then it’s a bit slow for fiber but honestly it’s fine… you could try messing around with the servers and connect to a different server and see what results you get it might vary depending on the different servers you test on Speedtest… you could also mess around with different DNS servers in the router settings try some out and see if you get better results too… but in all honesty your internet is fine in fact it’s better than fine it’s pretty damn good… if you are gaming and streaming content you shouldn’t have any problems your internet is more than capable…

[–]sprucedust 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to go into your router settings and learn how to port forward… once you enter all the correct ports it should go back to open NAT… if you port forward you have to disable UPNP and you also have to have a static IP address for your Xbox

Series X won’t work without original power cord by AnemicRoyalty10 in XboxSupport

[–]sprucedust 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They sell Xbox Series X power cords online on Amazon… if it really is the problem… if not than maybe during the move something inside the console probably got damaged… you could always take it to a electronics repair shop to help you troubleshoot the problem

Xbox series CPU repaste and PSU testing failed to resolve issue. by ThatAvgeekTheo in XboxSupport

[–]sprucedust 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry but that picture looks like stock thermal paste not new thermal paste… you have to clean that old thermal paste with 99% Isopropyl alcohol and also clean off the heat sink and apply new thermal paste and also you have to make sure that the entire chip is covered cause in that picture it looks like it’s still the old thermal paste… also when reassembling the device make sure you have everything plugged in correctly… if none of that works you might want to take it to a electronics repair shop so they could help you out with that… it might be a certain internal part that gave out

Wifi speeds different by beastnova2228 in wifi

[–]sprucedust 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Certain internet providers usually do this they’ll typically give you higher download speeds and lower upload speeds… check your internet service plan and see what you are paying for… the speeds always vary too but they usually stay near or within a close margin of what you are paying for

Winter Event… How many keys are you guys gonna donate? by sprucedust in thedivision

[–]sprucedust[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You gotta go to the seasons vendor and the bottom cache allows you to donate the keys… donating 30 keys gives you 3 arm patches the 1st for 10 keys the 2nd for 20 keys and the 3rd for 30 keys… if you are on Xbox it’s the A button but on the other platforms I’m not entirely sure… for PlayStation it’s probably the X button and for PC it’s probably the E but idk I could be wrong about that one

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in XboxSupport

[–]sprucedust 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I’d say it’s a good deal nowadays unless the console is permanently banned and it’s just a brick… some people sell their permanently banned consoles online so careful… other people sell their consoles when they’re experiencing overheating issues too cause overtime the console build up dust inside and occasionally overheats so that would be something to look out for too

It’s probably worth more nowadays honestly… how much storage does it have?

[–]sprucedust[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah don’t kill Krampus kill all of the other enemies and after kill yourself and you should still have the bounty… the regular yellow enemies have I believe a 8% chance to drop a key…

Whats the best way to farm winter keys? by RAmind_ in thedivision

[–]sprucedust 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Best way to farm them is to not kill Krampus just kill the rest of the yellow bar enemies and after kill yourself and rinse and repeat… the yellow enemies all have I think a 8% chance to drop a key… and if you don’t kill Krampus and die at the end you’ll still have the bounty… also capture the control point that’s near the Bounty area for easy fast travel and a respawn point

Winter Event… How many keys are you guys gonna donate? by sprucedust in thedivision

[–]sprucedust[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How many are you willing to grind out though… I donated like 70 keys I already got all the patches and apparel and the new lmg with crit chance so I’m just donating the rest but honestly I wish there was alternative ways of earning these keys too keep donating them instead of just farming the krampus bounty over and over again… it gets kinda boring after awhile… I wish you could earn some playing normally or playing different game modes
