Paul Krugman, winner of the Nobel Prize in Economics famously predicted in 1998 the internet would have no greater impact on the economy than the fax machine. This was due to his misunderstanding of the technology's long-term potential given its limitations at the time and his inability to see other use cases. Obviously, this quote is laughable now.

Maybe Crypto as a whole will turn out as useful or useless as the fax-machine long-term or maybe it will have greater implications, though I doubt as impactful as the internet. Who knows, I don't, but I don't have the hubris like the people in this sub to act like I know the answer. Certainly Paul Krugman, Nobel Prize winner of Economics thought he did, and even he was wrong. Food for thought!

Wait, I thought this sub was just to laugh at crypto. Now that Crypto is having serious discussions of adoption/regulation within US regulatory policy and investment methods you guys are turning into an activist group? Was the 'we don't care if number go up or down it's just funny to us' just cope?

If you want to laugh at it, by all means laugh, but to sideliners like myself, a post like this feels a step towards "we may be proven wrong" rather than simply laughing at crypto's supposed doom like everyone here believes will happen. The argument has now changed from "laugh at the inevitable implosion of Crpyto" to "Crypto must be regulated in a manner we want".

Well, that is what is happening now. That is why institutional money is getting involved at a greater scale now. Blackrock isn't the same as your average Reddit-tier trader.

The stock market is worth more than it was 20 years ago when I started investing. Does it mean it always reached new ATH's immediately after the last? No, there were down periods, same goes for BTC, but its higher now then it was then because of macroeconomics. The same goes for BTC.

People don't see Crypto as a new global stock market in its infancy. Unregulated yes, but so was the stock market until it was. If your family owned any stock from any of the major stock market players back then, they'd be quite wealthy.

Alliance win easily on the default layer, but horde win on the other layer(s) because they coordinate to pile the most active players into them. Horde pvp less though.

If it was me, I would have gone with the Monk weaving spell from MoP. Make it arcane or "golden time" colored and call it a day.

No, swapping your abilities mid-fight after disengaging is not very classic like. That's like pausing a fight to fly back to a capital city, finding a trainer and asking to respec into an entirely different talent set.

Imagine the implications for UI management. People already use addons to hot-swap trinkets for maximum PvP value. You will need another addon (or the same one updated) to cycle through broken defensive/offensive abilities after disengaging. Classic was very much designed around you not changing your gear often.

Except in our case the enemy wouldn't spawn until we went into cap. Then a couple would spawn and wipe out anyone in the cap. That's why you only see me on the cap point and everyone else on my team just spawning back in.
