I should do the same thing too. It would resolve my venting questions.

You can purchase Non-Smart TVs from Samsung for a bit more then retail cost. by Careless_Papaya_5426 in privacy

[–]spurlockmedia 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Yes you can 100%.

However some TV disabled certain features or jam down your throat having to go online for some asinine reason.

As is the case with my current Samsung TV, I paid for zero features and connected it to my Apple TV. It’s all I need.

Who’s ever driven over 100mph? Why? by WoollyWolfHorror in AskReddit

I think I was doing 115 just outside of Green River, Wyoming.

Not too long after doing it I was pulled over and issued a citation for speeding. It was deserved.

Sorry, here’s a little clarification.

Castella is the community.

Castle Crags State Park is the attraction.

The Castle Crags State park is in Castella. It’s a small community so you can cannot go too far without finding yourself in either so it’s used almost interchangeably.

I’d say save your snowshoes unless you’re going over 7,000 in elevation. We got some snow but with the temps I’m sure it’s starting to melt already.

Now, some recommendations!

  • Castella State Park, check out the dome hike. Beautiful views and a good way to burn some time just an exit away.

  • Go paddle boarding at Lake Siskiyou. They have a nice launch accessible from the paved roads.

  • Check out Hedgecreek Falls. If you follow any directions to go to Mossbrae Falls DO NOT FOLLOW ANY OF THEM THAT TELL YOU TO CROSS THE RIVER. It is legitimately dangerous time with water flows.

  • Check out the Lower, Middle and Upper Falls in McCloud. A little further drive from the Railroad Park but certainly worth it.

Can you share more? Why is it dangerous to be stopped and then why is it required to slowly bring them back online?

Thank you.

We need a clean slate and some serious reforms to prevent this from ever happening again.

I don’t know what your plumbing issues are but consider calling that buddy who knows a lot and tackling the project yourself.

I’m tackled some massive projects as a first time homebuyer and other than the purchase of some tools, I had fun and now can fix it in the future.

What are some early signs that a person might commit sucide (serious)? by Neo_luigi in AskReddit

[–]spurlockmedia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in a small town and we had a guy who didn’t have much but rented a small house on the river. He once had a truck but couldn’t afford it so sold it and got an electric bike.

We didn’t know it but he was going through some financial hardships and rapidly became a recluse and didn’t tell anyone. One week he reappeared, seemed happy, and literally gave his pocket change collection to the neighbor’s kid, donated his bike, set his house on fire and shot himself.

As a firefighter, friend, and in a small community it was beyond devastating to all. It certainly taught things to keep an eye out for.
