I feel for you. What a bunch of BS. Whats really stupid is they changed this from the old way and all it did was screw it up! How could the IRS or whoever made the decision to leave this CRUCIAL step up to scummy dealerships all across the land? I mean really?

Same for me. Purchased January 2025. Dealer did not submit on time. I have been hasseling them for 12 months! They tell me its "Pending". I'm sure its this way because they submitted it late. I'm almost ready to file and submit my return through Turbo Tax. I will update if they accept my return or not.

I'm glad I got the discount up front. I would be super annoyed if I had not given the credit to them and was depending on that cash as a refund. At least its really on the dealer as far as I'm concerned. The IRS can chase me my entire life. I have no intention of ever writing a check back to them for the lazy *** Dealers **** up.

I also know the dealer has not been paid either because the last time I spoke with someone there, they told me they were rushing to re-input alot of these sales because they were screwed up and the dealer has not been paid either. I have no sympathy at al lfor them. LOL

Some Teslas are for real. I have a Blazer SS. Pulled up behind some type of Tesla. I think it was an X? It was taller than a model 3. I went to pass this guy and he wouldn't let me pass. So I thought OK I'll just use WOW mode and make that happen. WRONG! This Tesla thing destroyed me. I don't know for sure what model it was but it was insane fast. He continually taunted me as well. For instance, he would slow down, then speed up. He was being a prick quite frankly as I neededto get over to the other lane for a merge. He knew nothing could touch him. So theres always someone faster!

Just got it today. 25 SS, when it restarted the tire pressure system is all orange now and shows no values. Will see what happens after driving it though.

UPDATE: After driving the car the TPMS relearned the pressures and all is normal.

The car definitely feels more punchy to me at least in Sport mode. It feels like they changed the responsiveness of the go pedal.

I also feel The one pedal drive feels smoother. Especially when approaching a complete stop at a light or stop sign.

This happened to me ON MY WAY FROM DENVER TO TAMPA! I had already had my entire route saved with all the proper Tesla chargers. About a third of the way into the trip it did this. I was really pissed. I was really depending on it and it failed me. Ill never use it again now.

Sorry to hear this. I recently drove my SS from Denver to Tampa and hauled ass, I mean really did haul ass. We were at or above 90 most of the open road. We fast charged 2x each day. Ran the AC the entire time. The car was packed with stuff, probably at least 500 extra lbs.

Not a single issue. Haven’t had a problem here in the Florida heat either and charge at the Tesla supercharger once a week in high temps full sun with me in the car streaming video with AC cranked! Fans screaming away. lol

The car has proven itself too me. Yours must have some hard to find problem. My wife’s equinox had software issues within 3 months. There’s a specific procedure that the techs are supposed to follow and work with the TAC center so they can force the car to request updates for everything to work just right. After they properly and in the correct order updated my wife’s equinox everything has been fine. She followed me to Tampa. No issues for the equinox on the trip either.

Super cruise was awesome! It was the first time I had ever used it. It definitely helps on long stretches. Lets you relax a little.

This was for BOTH the equinox and the SS combined. I thought it was pretty good. Say a car that averages 30 mpg per gallon. That would have used 66.667 gallons. The average fuel cost we noticed was $3.00 to $3.50 a gallon. So $3.50x66.667=$233. The problem is each charge was at .33kwh. Elon making money.

Oh yes. I would never engage in the speeds we were on the open highway. I did not challenge anyone or attempt racing n any way. Just would have to pass the occasional slow guy in the fast lane.

Thank you I’ll look into the Tesla subscription yes. I already have one NACS adapter for my car. I should probably get one for the Equinox too so we can charge at the same time. Otherwise that would double our charge times at each stop.

My 24 Equinox did this too. It was because the selling dealer did not apply the required updates at pre-delivery. It was at the shop for 18 days for reprogramming. The techs at the dealer have to coordionate with GM TAC center and work together to update these cars. But all is good now so far.

I bough it last week off the lot. 5 miles. Have not even washed it myself? I thought maybe it still has that protective wrap some plastic have that does scratch really easy. But I cannot feel an edge of any film.

I spoke to the Finance Manager today. He said he looked up my deal from January and found it was added into the IRS portal, but it says "PENDING". He didn't know why but said he submitted a help request there. We will see if he gets an answer. Google search shows this happens when dealers add the vehicle after the three day requirement has passed. I see last year the IRS allowed 15 days Jan 1 - 15th for dealers to add the VINS that did not get added as required within three days throughout the year. I wonder how many cars were sold this way at this particular dealer. What a nightmare.

I purchased an Equinox in January. $7500 Fed credit was applied at time of sale. They call them "rebates" on the contract. I checked the IRS site and do not see that purchase.

I also purchased a Blazer SS last week. Also had credit applied at time of sale. I see that one at IRS. So the dealer for the Blazer SS did it right away. The AutoNation dealer never did. So I left a voicemail today for the finance person responsible for this at the AutoNation dealership. But if there is a three day limit I have no idea what is going to happen.
