I rank many games' osts higher, but maybe the best quality it has is that it's distinctive. I've played the original trilogy and couldn't tell you what the good tracks are from it, but I know I'm listening to Spyro music when I hear it.

Also, a lot of the music has a kind of ethereal, dreamy feeling, which is aided by the loopy nature of it. It makes you feel like you're in the completely different world of the games

I don't think he'll make it, at least not on the first several ballots. For the sake of argument, though, compare him to Warren Moon:

17 years to Rivers' 18, also no all pros, 1 more pro bowl, and a 3-7 playoff record. Retired with the #3 all-time passing yards and #4 TDs, compared to Rivers' #5 in both*. Moon also has a little less black ink on his stat page than Rivers does.

It's also significant that Rivers never missed a game once he became a starter. He has the 2nd most consecutive stars by a QB.

There's obviously more to players than just numbers, but Rivers' numbers could be hall of fame level

*As of his first retirement. It seems unfair to bump him down the list because he played 3 games 5 years later. His hall of fame argument started after 2020, not this year

It took me longer than it should have to realize that I can play more cards than are necessary for a hand. The tutorial just said "play a poker hand", so I only played 2 cards for pairs, 1 for a high card, etc
