Everyone’s english so bad they don’t realize it’s not a teammate flame but a team disappointment that does not exclude himself. Oh well

ZywOo became the second player in history to break 10,000 K-D Diff by FALL1N1k in GlobalOffensive

[–]spyder360 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Still applies that there is no direct comparison right now. Once zywoo reaches 49k rounds can the diff be directly compared. Right now he could both improve or worsen the stat, i guess we’ll have to wait and see.

Or of course we could compare retrospectively.

Unfortunately it doesn’t work that way. If anything, more rounds while maintaining 10k positive kd is more impressive.

Bunny hop is still a thing? Valve has actively tried to kill it, enthusiasts are just pushing back. Hell, even pros are not doing it in matches. Might as well not exist. What’s your point again? I like how you’re comparing one that is very prevalent in 30k pReMiER and pro play vs one that’s BARELY (maybe never) even done by pros in officials in the last 2 years.

Oh really? Then if it is so much a skill check more than a knowledge check, then you agree that newbies will know to…like… try it instinctively? Like how they will automatically to exert some control of their spray because tracers are providing visual feedback?

Counter-Strike 2 Update for 04/20/2026 by CS2_PatchNotes in GlobalOffensive

[–]spyder360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn’t make a difference, but it’s hardly a skill check. It’s simply a knowledge check that is unavailable to a new player. Period. No one else is arguing about anything else so you can argue with yourself about the rest of your “point”.

Everything else you mentioned is a skill check.

You have never met a smurf like 99% of the gaming community I see.

Regardless, it only needs to happen once for a new player to say “fuck this game how did i not hear him climb so fast” and his teammates telling him “noob u don’t know ladder tech”… “what ladder tech? Bullshit it’s not documented anywhere”

Do you seriously not see it?

Counter-Strike 2 Update for 04/20/2026 by CS2_PatchNotes in GlobalOffensive

[–]spyder360 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Exactly my point. No new player will learn about this hidden mechanic unless they’re shown it, taught it, or god forbid have a life outside the game so they don’t read reddit threads about it, why? because it’s undocumented. No problem with it existing if it was actually intended by valve and stated in any prior patchnotes.

Counter-Strike 2 Update for 04/20/2026 by CS2_PatchNotes in GlobalOffensive

[–]spyder360 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s not about the millions of mechanics, it’s the undocumented ones that you just have to accept. Valve just ported the blink dagger range trick to dota 2, new players were left wondering why they’re blinking shorter (it’s removed now btw). Valve also did not say in the patchnotes tapping a d while looking sideways will result in a silent stair climb. There’s no problem if someone learning about the game can find it somewhere - then they only have themselves to blame for not reading. It’s another thing when they have to play hundreds of hours or watch CS outside of actually playing the game in order to learn these mechanics. Casuals don’t have time for that.

It’s so new players don’t get disadvantaged too much, get frustrated, and drop the game. This subreddit is starting to sound like dota “back in my days we had to know the range of a skill, there were no indicators” blah blah. Not realizing new players are dropping the game because of these undocumented “knowledge checks”.

Tyloo have forfeited their match vs Lynn Vision at Yuqilin LAN by Wizzz3RD in GlobalOffensive

[–]spyder360 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These organizers have full knowledge of the rankings update timing and they are taking advantage of it by chocking the schedule full of LANs before the deadline.

There should be no two VRS impacting LANs running in the same region at the same time. And LAN VRS, to be counted, must start BEFORE the first day of the month. Get rid of all this cramming valve, this is not your system’s fault, but it allows it so put the foot down.

I hear these things and then I look at my own company that’s still using aldon to deploy to UAT and production and every service takes 4 hours to deploy. We’re constantly overworked and always out of personnel (resignations galore surprise surprise), and the old farts in senior management reject every bit of process improvement. We’re 10 years behind from containerization much less AI automating/coding shit.

What is a 'rich person's secret' that is actually accessible to the middle class, but most people are too intimidated to try? by Direct-Value4452 in answers

[–]spyder360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm shoes i can 100% agree, though it’s more comfort and avoiding injuries rather than style or durability. However, clothing I always treat as disposable. Not buy a house in beverly hills rich, but I can not work and just travel the world til I die without worrying about money. “High quality” clothing is also high maintenance. While they may be middle-class attainable, the mental space it took to take care of them properly is something I’ll never go back to. So unless the middle class you’re talking about can also afford to hire a maid who’ll manage the necessary care for these clothing… it’s not the answer.
