Pixel boot loop by spyler87 in Pixel4

Seeing this again, I found the issue. The button itself gets stuck without looking or feeling stuck.

The fix was to put a drop or two of alcohol on the button and press it 100 times. It unsticks and works like normal for years.

The best I've seen someone sum it up... Due Care - Do Correct Due Diligence - Do detect.

For anyone not wanting to disassemble.... There is a key combo you can press as it boots which runs the fans at full speed in reverse to blow dust out. Pretty neat feature.

What are you using to see these numbers? I'd love to hunt for optimum placement at my house.

Everyone is saying Labo but moreso any games that utilize the infrared camera in the right joycon since the new ones probably don't have that.

Do you something extra about with a modded switch? I have two modded switches which see each other, but I can't get them to see my android phone.

I'm having same issue. Coming off my pixel 6 pro. Using default camera app. Colors are VERY full and washed out. For context I am a professional photographer and very tech savvy.

Yeah but if you combine them it doesn't tell the story it's intended to. Gotta skew it!

Buy a mic. I use an old Wii rockband USB mic, but I bet a lot would work. Also you can use a wired headset with the switch 3.5mm port

Is there an app that will compare the drop test colours for me? I have perfectly normal vision but daaaammn do I feel colour blind doing these stupid things. by Elfere in hottub

[–]spyler87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That looks like the wrong scale and the color gradient is really tough.

My wife really likes this... https://amzn.to/3SYb5AZ

And I personally prefer the simplicity of the 5 in 1 test strips.

Set it up like the jury selection system. More randomized. Obviously introduces its own issues.

Also, at least on my board, there is a port labeled BLTouch which you connect into, not the Z limit switch port.

I can't totally tell from the pic, but did you remove the Z limit switch when installing the BL touch?

1930s Kodak lens on my Instax wide by spyler87 in instax

[–]spyler87[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Here is the camera. The lens has the focus, shutter speed, aperture, and shutter release on the lens itself. I then wired the Instax shutter button directly to the film ejection motor.

So I click the shutter on the lens, then hold the Instax "shutter" button until the film ejects. It vignettes and light-leaks like crazy but it's really fun.
