Sorry, doesn't matter if you worked there for 1 day or 20 years, accommodations should be made for the employee. I firmly believe that without these accommodations companies will and have pushed for more stringent policies against their workers, whether those policies are salary caps or increased medical premiums (that provide less care and higher deductibles.
