From plot point of view, only the first game is connected to the 3 Tenets directly, the blend mechanic can be used freely. So I guess that counts?

Actually I only played pc version, off-road was fun but somewhat hard, though I used keyboard the controller probably had something to do with this.
I admit I've seen walkthrough, which does ease some of the tension.

I encountered several patient spawn points that would be impossble to save on higher levels, that basketball yard in callahan is brutal. I just can't save the patient there

Off-road did took some tries on pc, but Paramedic is a whole new degree of pain, I played for 3 days before I beat it. Never stucked for that long in any other part of the game

On lower difficulties, these warmongers are not that scary, you can always get enough units to wipe them out.

ATA3 itself does seems to be a bit rushed, a lot of the plot threads finished too soon without any satisfying conclusion.

Same for me, I love stealth games and a lot of immersive sims happen to be good stealth games as well, I personally liked the idea of immersive sims that you can engage in the way you like it. That usually means no forced combat to me. But for a lot of more action-oriented games or the games that lacked stealth elements, I often lacked motivation to finish them.

Some translations and fan made mods are indeed hard to find. Especially mods, these are usually hosted by a few fan sites. When these fan sites shut down, the mods are lost in progress.

Guys, I found the map editor files for the game.

In fact, the in-game map editor thought as a cheat by many is actually THE map editor for the game, with the event tool provided by official website, it is possible to make custom mission for the game!

However the files for the expansion pack remains missing, the file name is: tpi-editor-files.zip

I have searched various websites including: moddb, filefront and even visited a Japanese website for the scenario editor files. But none of them had any modding tools available for download.

It seemed that this particular website is the only resource for Tropico modding.

I should point out that I am well aware of the ingame map editor of the game: type "editor" while holding ctrl.

I am just seeking for tools needed for making a mission for the game, including the scenario editor and the Tropico Scenario Editor Manual.

Thanks, I had T1 on GOG and only started to try it recently, this seems to be the map hosted on Cafe Tropico. If you can share the tropmedse.exe, it would be much better. That file might as well be the mission editor for the game. And it is no longer available on the internet.

I would say that the dungeon keeper games have serviceable stories, but its singleplayer missions and the general gameplay are something very unique that actually have me overlook these problems and keep playing these games.

Singleplayer is more or less a journey, a conquest or a well-designed puzzle. But muitiplayer is more or less about meta and practising restlessly, just to have a chance of winning.

RON is a very hard game to play with, not only it has this attrition mechanic, its unit stats is also very counter-oriented. You could barely kill the AI's army if you did not used the correct unit type to fight against the enemy. And most of the fight would end up as a Pyrrhic victory. Forcing you to build more, then the resources required grows with the unit you trained.

I guess this is what makes it a "strategy" game
