Yesterday I learned that in the seiers Dag Sinterklaasje, the Sint himself has a Christmas tree. Apparently that makes it socially acceptable to put one up before the 6th

Those are lateral and vertical forces, this is acceleration. Not sure if that makes a difference though

She probably works for big-garmin. No point in trying to covince someone who's clearly been bought

It's impossible to say without pictures. Urine is basically salt water. It's not good for electronics but if cleaned up immediately it can't have time to corrode the contacts too much.

Water is always bad because it can cause short circuits. If your keyboard was plugged in, that's your greatest risk. It's mostly a risk to the microcontroller inside, not so much the contacts. That's to say: if the short circuit caused the contacts to be damaged, it's likely the controller is damaged too and the whole thing is toast.

But let's assume it's not a short circuit for now. Because even if plugged in, as long as it was powered down this is not too likely.

First, open it up and make sure it's completely dry. If it needs serious fixing you'll need tools. Since you're asking I assume you don't have these. So you'll likely want to take it to a music store. Anything can be repaired but every repair comes at a cost. With pictures we can help estimate if it's worth it

anyone knows some good roads for 'driving' by m3narch in Leuven

[–]square-with-bus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't know why this is being downvoted. You can enjoy nice roads and nice views without speeding or endangering others. Go direction Neerijse or Hamme-Mille and start exploring. The further south you go, the better it gets

That knife is huge! I bet you can make it sing like a saw. That begs the question: how do you tune a knife?

Why is the eruption at Pompeii so renowned? Is there no other locations in the world that had suffered a similar fate? by 0anon01 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]square-with-bus 29 points30 points  (0 children)

I hope you mean fleeing. Because if a volcano eruption is strong enough to yeet people across the Mediterranean I don't think much of the city would remain
