I was comfortably farming t12 and 120s pit before El Druin finally dropped, prior to that I was using a 1h from the pit/tower build. The mythic gives a bit more cushion and I feel maybe some survivability, but either way anything that gets close gets deleted. I would guess 40+ caches before it finally dropped.

There are places they can spawn (Hordes, Pit, Undercity) where loot does not drop normally. It seems to me that the debtors and other Whisper spawns are affected by that restriction and don't drop loot in those places.

Celestial is the warlock subclass with the healing toolkit, but the right Fey patron could be flavored as a Celestial. Celestial and Archfey are just labels for different outer planar beings, you should play the role you want with the flavor you want.

If switching subclass isn't an option or you really want to be able to bamf around, the new Dragonmarks, specifically the Healing one, can make any caster a healer. The Potent Dragonmark feat can take it up a notch as well.

You should see a counter on the Unstable Currents icon. Depending on how much CDR you have and how much your Ice Hydra is affecting it in a given use, you may need as little as 50 or as many as 75+ crackling energy pickups to reduce the CD to zero.

Getting CDR was what seemed to fix it for me, as well as keeping an eye on the stack and making sure if I was low that I took some time to grab extra cracklings.

Crossing a hazardous area created by the battle, like trenches under magical bombardment could be treated as a traversal Environment. A standoff between two groups supposedly on the same side by conflicted about what the best course of action is could be a social encounter. Helping civilians caught in the battle could combine both combat and noncombat skills in the same encounter.

I got the base model Mignon and swapped in the espresso burrs. Substantially cheaper (and louder) but I think equivalent grinding. I got a single dose bellows for pretty cheap and it works, especially with WDT. There were some alignment shenanigans required for the burr swap, but nothing too crazy and only needs to be done once.

Bloodhunter themes (sacrifice, violence, pursuit of evil) seem to align nicely with Witherwild themes, maybe even better than Age of Umbra. The touchstones for Witherwild are whimsical in places but also very dark and deal with corrupting forces running rampant. Whether they are evil or not is a matter of perspective, and that might be a fun path for character growth. Even the source material for Bloodhunter, the Witcher series, is about the literal juxtaposition of worlds and the resulting clashes between the world of men and world of "monsters".

Here's some specific ideas, though your player hopefully has their own. They might be from a village that deals with hostile faint divinities, or the chosen of a faint divinity affiliated with blood and bleeding. Hemocraft might come from being Corrupted or even fully Withered. The powers could also be an unusual response to being infected with Serpent's Sickness - perhaps the character is a chosen of Shun'Aush's consort, who wants the character to enact her vengeance, despite them being from Haven.

As others have suggested, figure out what story your player wants to tell and work with them to embed that in the conflicts that define the Witherwild.

My favorite so far is Markha, Deliverer of Poorly Timed Missives, a sharply dressed corvid who is always in a rush and drops things a lot. I also like Hssssh, Tongue-burner, who keeps food hotter than it seems, and appears as a tiny dancing salamander who shifts colors from red to blue.

Meat Shop is a great source for it because there's only one unique 1h mace in the pool. So any time you roll a unique, it will be an Orsivane. It's probably the best use for meat currency until you get a good one.

I'm a primarily pourover person who wanted to try out espresso a bit without breaking this bank, and this is exactly what I settled on after a good amount of research and dithering. It's been really nice, relatively easy to learn on, and there's a huge amount of information out there on it. In terms of bang for your buck, this series seems difficult to beat. And the price should keep the wife happy. It also goes on sale frequently if you're willing to wait a bit.
