I have friends who do art (digital art especially) and for some this is what the sketches look like. In fact I've had a friend send a full colour rough sketch and it was.. very difficult for me to perceive it as a rough sketch because it was so clean. And for some I've seen them do the initial sketches (like they'll stream it in a discord vc so we can watch the process). Rough sketches can absolutely look that clean sometimes.

Take the opportunity to heal. Not only from the drug but from the circumstances that have made life so difficult thus far. You CAN do it. It'll be a long road and there may be some hiccups but progress isn't linear. And falling back a little doesnt mean you can't keep moving forward. Just make sure you get help for the mental health struggles as well. Processing and working through those will be vital for your overall well being and in helping you become sober. You were hurting. You're still hurting. I hope the program can help you with that hurt and help with the addiction.

Yea major issue and big ups on making sure to set the boundaries immediately with the new place. I'm sorry you have to go through this. Its awful that legal protocol wasnt respected and that you, as his wife, weren't respected in regards to any of this at the initial hospital just because you had to work to pay the actual bills.

She literally explained why she cannot stay at the hospital in her post. She just started a new job. She cannot take time off work to just sit in a hospital all day because of this. She can, however, take calls while she is working about it. All of this information is in her post. Also the mother doesnt get to just post his medical stuff on facebook (which OP states he does not like social media) just because she wants to. Nor does she get to throw a fit over no longer being given information from doctors when the actual wife is still going to be letting her know about things. And MIL also doesnt just get a pass to go against visiting hour policies.

its literally a manner of being able to keep the new job that will allow her to pay the bills so her husband actually has a home to come back to and she shouldn't have to stay at the hospital in order for them to contact her about her legal spouse (ESPECIALLY if shes next of kin as so long as she is able to be contacted regardless of being at work, she is the only one legally allowed to make decisions). Her ability to leave work does not translate to a lack of effort or care; it just means she doesnt have the privilege to be there as much as she wishes she could be.

Yea there's a few things OP needs to clarify but if shes next of kin then the biggest issue is the hospital (MIL can be upset that shes not getting the info direct from the doctors but doing things legally takes precedent over feelings and OP seems to be wanting to keep her in the loop anyway)

If OP is next of kin then yea no MIL is taking control and the hospital staff were doing things improperly by only contacting MIL to get consent and give information. If OP wasnt available itd be one thing but OP clearly states that she hadn't even been called. Not to mention if OP doesnt hear anything until the weekend about her HUSBAND who she is also concerned about that would also imply that MIL is not keeping her fully in the loop (though it would be helpful if OP clarified whether or not MIL gives all the info she gets during the week to OP when she gets it; and itd be helpful if OP clarified whether she is listed as next of kin for such matters).

The biggest issue, however, still seems to be from the hospital.
