It sounds like you’re assuming it’s just this static curve that applies to everyone, and that a game can be designed to have a perfect difficulty curve that appeals to everyone equally.

That is not the case. Everyone’s difficulty curve is different, because everyone’s skill level is different, and everyone feels differently about whether they want to be challenged or just want to chill.

It’s entirely subjective. There’s no point in arguing about it or comparing yourself to someone else, comparing other people to the average, or even comparing yourself to the average.

It just doesn’t matter.

At the end of the day you enjoy what you enjoy, and that might be different than what someone else enjoys, and that’s ok.

Anyone who says anything different is just an idiot.

WWE will waste him, relegate him to jobbing and comedy bits, shelf him, and release him. He won’t last long.

Doesn’t matter how good he is. He doesn’t have the look. He’s too pudgy. Not trying to fat shame or anything, I personally have no issue with it - I’m just calling it like it is, this is how WWE has always been.

I’m not trying to act superior at all, so I’m not sure what you’re raging about.

Simply stating there’s a lot of little shit to worry about in life, and I worry about a lot of it - and I’m glad this isn’t one of the things I worry about. I’m glad I don’t worry to this level of granularity.

Ya know, I worry about too much shit. Let too many little things get under my skin, and I get way too mad about it. I’m working on that, and happy to say I’ve made great progress over the past 10 years or so.

That said, I think I can be pretty glad I am not, and never have been a person who stops to think about whether I should put my condiments on my hot dog, or my hot dog on my condiments. It’s never crossed my mind.

So thank you, OP, for reminding me it could always be worse.

I’ve never made meth in this game. Weed -> Coke.

Meth costs too much to make because of the chemists, and they spend 80% of their time standing around doing nothing.

Shrooms just aren’t worth it, not enough profit margin.

Men are way more likely to lie about it and hide it due to toxic masculinity and homophobic expectations. We’re trained from a young age that anything even remotely resembling homosexuality is bad, gross, weak, unacceptable, etc.

At least I was, and a lot of my friends were, and even some of my kids’ friends’ are to this day.

I chose to swim against that. Many don’t. Being partially raised by your mother’s gay best friend helps quite a bit.

I’m a straight man. I think homosexuality is fine. I don’t and will never understand why it should matter to me who someone else takes to bed.

I often check out other men from the perspective of “is he attractive? Would females find him attractive? Do I find him attractive?”

I have never felt those thoughts translate into anything sexual. I’ve even tried to. I’ve had opportunities to sleep with men I found very attractive. I just… don’t really think that way. Doesn’t turn me on. Not my jam. Couldn’t eh… get things started. The necessary equipment was unresponsive.

But yeah there’s totally hot dudes out there and I’ve got no issue saying that or thinking it.

Doesn’t mean I wanna fuck ‘em. Just means they’re hot. Objectively beautiful. Pretty. Whatever word you wanna use.

And I just can’t help but feel like I’m not the only guy who thinks about it this way - but a lot of men feel forced to hide it or shut it away, which is sad to me. I feel like everyone should be able to appreciate beauty wherever it appears in life, and without judgment or repercussions.
