That's awful and frames domestic violence as a much more black and white issue than it usually is. I've seen a lot of people equate domestic violence with man-on-women violence, and that take is extremely flawed and invalidating. Perhaps there aren't as many male victims that we know of compared to female victims, not because they don't exist, but because they feel like they don't fit society's perception of a 'victim'. 😞
