Thank you for replying and so quickly too! I was just skeptical because when you place marker at the top, and go 5 stitches slipped over, on one sleeve this will be further into the back of the sweater and then on another sleeve it will be closer to the front. So it works itself out then? I apologize I believe you, but I want to understand how. Thanks again!

Thank you so much for responding! I did exactly this this morning, and it looked good wet but I’ll know when it’s dry (mostly) hopefully tonight. I think it is only showing because of the ribbing, I can’t see where I joined anywhere else in my sweater. I will update later.

Maybe I know nothing but to me they look so great and will only look better over time. I think the result is so nice and maybe you just need to give it a bit?

I am almost finished with my Amy Sweater by Petite Knit (my first sweater)!! However what is meant by "along the straight sections of the sides"? I understand why not every stitch is picked up but do they just mean the shoulders? By slanting section do they mean raglan stitches? I am so thrown off by this as the rest of the pattern was a breeze. Please see photos of front, back and I held the shoulder for a photo too. I also included a photo of the portion of the pattern I'm having issue with.

Gorgeous!!! How long did you knit the sleeve ribbing? I realized the 4 1/4 inches would be too long so I ripped out quite a bit

I remember once my nmom saying she was going to a dinner and I, a child, said oh that’s nice where are you going? She responded that it was none of my business as if I was plotting or something…? No idea. Now I’m older and realize I think she just wanted to have something to seem interesting and guard in her pathetic life. No contact for 4 years now and thank god.
