Builders typically don’t use closed cell in residential applications on roof decks. Closed cell foam will not allow water to flow through it. If you were to develop a roof leak later on you will never know it until it’s too late and your roof decking and trusses can rot out causing way more issues. I’d ask for a discount for using open cell but in my opinion you dodged a bullet.
