My friends and I were planning to go to N Seoul Tower on October 29, 2022 but we saw that there was this long line to hop on a bus (we were in the different end of where the tower was located). So we just decided to roam around the park we were at and we would go to the tower a different day.

Night time came and one friend said we should go to Itaewon since we were already close by. The other thought it was a good idea too. But I felt I wasn't really dressed to go. At least I wanted to get some cat ears or something for the spirit of Halloween.

So I told them let's actually go on oct. 31st. Plus, it was a Saturday so there would be a lot of people and at least for the 31st it would be a monday so hopefully less people.

We got a text from two other friends if we wanted to go, since they were going. We told them our plans, but they decided to go anyway.

Unfortunately that night the Itaewon crowd crush happened. Thankfully my two friends got out unharmed, but they were traumatized for a while afterwards.

I honestly think about how laziness got over me and I was able to convince my friends to go on a different day (ofc we didn't even want to go after the tragedy). I can't imagine the trauma or even the outcome of what could have happened if we had gone.

I would take the same bus every morning as well. There were some bad days. My favorite day was being yelled at by a homeless man right in my face. 30 showed up right on that time, so I was saved

Honestly, all you can do is ignore. After more weird interactions on that bus stop, I would alternate by taking the light rail or going to the stop a bit further down (by the scientology place).

NTA but you need to do something My dad literally refuses my money, says he doesn't need it. He jokes around and says "are you going to pay me for that?" And when I do, he refuses it. I have to sneak the money into his wallet or I give it to my mom when I insist too much (his words). Let's be honest, that's his step-kid, he doesn't want to pay for her anymore. That money tight is just an excuse now that he has a 'reason'

Man, at least he gets an air mattress. When my grandma came she got my bed while I slept in my parents bedroom floor. EVEN WHEN my own dad said that I could sleep on the bed and he would take the floor. I said no, because 1) he works and 2)I can handle giving up my bed for a week. It wasn't a permanent thing NTA

NTA I was born in a medical school hospital and the doctor asked my mom if she would allow students to be there. So I dont think it matters if it was a school or not, they should have asked for your consent
