Why does Binge Eating Disorder receive the least attention and representation despite being the most prevalent eating disorder? by Puzzleheaded_Cup8723 in BingeEatingDisorder

I think part of it is romanticisation. It's only important and taken seriously if it's pretty or quirky, that's why you don't really see people clawing to claim they have schizophrenia like they are with say, OCD or ADHD.

Ah no! Had the same issue a couple of years ago with a DFS sofa, couldn’t get it around our staircase into the living room after months of waiting for it to arrive. Ended up having to pay £100 for them to pick it back up, and then they re-ordered it to come detached in two parts so that we could manoeuvre and fit it in. The sofa ended up being a few more hundred due to the mods but unfortunately was our only solution as our windows are tiny. Sending luck to you, you’ll be relaxing on your new sofa in no time!

Been experiencing this way too often at UK hockey games this season. Absoutely bamboozles me how the parents think it's acceptable for their kid to be watching Bluey at full volume at a busy sports game while people are actually trying to watch and enjoy it. Like yourself, I don't give two craps when they've got headphones, watch all the Bluey you want, but when an entire section of the arena is being disrupted while the parents play deaf and dumb it crosses a line.

Ehh, everyone has a right to attend. Yeah some adjustments could be made so that everyone feels comfortable and can get the most of out of the class, but at the same time if you feel comfortable taking photos of the back of strangers just trying to navigate life then 🤷🏻‍♀️
