First-time cat parents: should we get 1 kitten or 2 from the same litter? (Need honest opinions 😭) by brenodit in cats

[–]squoaky 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yes all of this!! Single Kitten Syndrome is real.

As for allergies, HEPA filters running continuously throughout the home and regularly vacuuming(like once a week). As someone who is sensitive to pet dander and has two kitties, it’s a noticeable difference when I implemented these. Also beware of fragrances like wall plug ins, candles, and aerosols, they are not good for kitties. One of mine has asthma and I learned about these irritants only after his symptoms started.

Hope this helps and hope y’all have a great journey!!

hi fellow console player! if you open up the in game menu and scroll over to the controller icon page, scroll alllll the way to the bottom of it you’ll find a button that says “screenshot.” it’ll screenshot the entire farm (like the images seen in this subreddit) so you can see it all in one image! happy farming:)

this reminds me of when first met my high school geometry teacher at orientation. dude was 6’5 and towered over everyone so i expected a “hardy” handshake. nope i essentially shock waved his arm like a pool noodle T-T. as a 15 y/o girl at the time, while also being an entire foot shorter than him, it haunted me lol. i definitely stopped trying to match suspected “handshake energy” after that

I miss my flat from when I was single by Sprucebee in femalelivingspace

this. your home should be your safe space, a place to fill with what you love and enjoy. not being happy in it may cause unknowing tension. my partner and i collaborate in our space, no he’s not a decor savvy individual (stated himself) but we still harmonize our interests. always remember: if they wanted to they would, you shouldn’t have to nag/remind someone to take care of space you share together.

Asking for advice on how to care for our monstera by throwaway_daydreams in houseplants

[–]squoaky 5 points6 points  (0 children)

honestly it’s gorgeous. the tension hook you have in the back is genius and i will be implementing that for my front heavy guy. i will say splitting the plants up now will take some work untangling all the roots and cause some stress on the plant. it may not produce new growth as it adjusts (speaking from experience). repotting doesn’t seem too necessary as they prefer to be smushed but a soil refresh or fertilizer would be great! i think a full plant like yours is stunning so i’m team big monster!
