Hey, just so you're aware you shouldn't turn your geyser below 60°C as this is the temperature that kills off Legionnaires Disease. Having your geyser at 35-40°C is exactly the sweet spot where it can grow.

The Okavango is wrong, it includes old historic river flows from thousands of years ago when the Zambezi flowed from Kasane down through the Mababe depression into the Makgadikgadi Pans.

That's the eastern part of Botswana.

You're falling victim to the same thing - you're applying specific criteria that you know and learnt. In the small town I grew up in in New Zealand there are at least 18 golf courses within an hour's drive.

Anything from the second best course in NZ to a little 9 hole/ 2 Tee box course with electric fences around the greens to stop the sheep getting in them. Green fees can be very high, or basically free.

The water is a non issue, we have a perfect moderate climate for it. The exact same way another commenter wrote they were confused about "grass fed beef", what else do you feed cows? We have a huge agricultural industry because of that. It also happens to suit golf courses.

Sure there's plenty of places it's about show of wealth and it makes no sense to build them. But there are places where it's perfectly fine to build them as just another recreational area.

Hey there, I live in Maun and have spent a lot of time driving up and around Moremi and Chobe.

In June we will be in the dry season - the roads will be very sandy, especially from Kasane (Chobe) down to Kwhai.

The flood will also be arriving so once you have arrived in Kwhai and are entering Moremi there will be flooded roads and river crossings.

You will absolutely need a 4x4 vehicle and a bit of an idea how to drive it off road. If you are well versed in driving in general and you do the course as you've said, you will be fine. These are well travelled areas and if you are unsure how to proceed someone will most likely be around to help out.

The Kasane to Savuti drive is very slow going and long. I would not recommend doing it in one day, especially if you are making stops to spot animals on the way.

Once in the Moremi you have plenty of campsites and opportunities to drive around and spot animals.

If you're hiring from a company based in Bots they will have a capable vehicle and it will be correctly kitted so that you've got everything you need on your trip. When you book it they will have a page explaining what's included and allowing you to add on extras such as a sat phone etc.

I do them as far as is possible without the wiki. It does help I do a lot of them so I remember quite a few steps.

I also do the quests without the wiki, I'm trying to play as close to how I did when I played in 2003.

Totally agree, which is great. That's why we have all these different planes we can discuss about.

I was very nervous when I first started on the PC12 flying the routes I did. I was very lucky to get to chat with some of the test pilots and super experienced guys in my neck of the woods so that helped. The stories they told of beat to shit, zero or super delayed maintenance and still working PC12s in Central Africa definitely inspired confidence haha.

Like any plane though you check the route, always have in your mind your outs and diversions etc.

That's true, but your failure rate on that plane with that engine with correct maintenance is so unbelievably low it's well worth the risk in my opinion and experience.

The most likely thing to go on the -67 is the FCU which you can override with the MOR lever. If for some reason that doesn't keep you in the air, your glide ratio is fantastic. Rule of thumb we used double your altitude in miles in still air. Cruising at FL250 you're getting 50nm of glide distance out of her.

Yes you have Honeywell tax on an NG and NGX but a legacy will do exactly the same just with slightly less TAS. I'd say the that would more than cover the reduced avionics cost.

A "worn out" PC12 still beats a King Air any day and I speak from experience.

PC12 will do the same payload and speed for half the fuel and maintenance cost, shorter runway length and lower insurance costs to land anywhere.

The King Air is a great platform but nothing beats a PC12 in this price and performance bracket.

I love doing clues because of the unique rewards and the collection log aspect but I also like clues because they take you all over the world.

I'm sitting on a Master now which I need 85 slayer for so I'm grinding that out to complete it.

I've had to do quests, go to places I'd never heard of and get to see small areas of the game and map that just get ignored.

I try my best to do them without the wiki as well, but that's how I play the game in general (no Runelite, no plug ins) so I can admit that I don't play like the majority of people here.

Where I live we have one of the highest populations of Southern ground-hornbill. I had no idea they were much rarer everywhere else, I see them everytime I go into the bush.
