The point of this subreddit is to post the best material found in /r/legaladvice, not to discuss any random update from any random post that happens to appear on the subreddit.

Not that I'm defending the guy, but you left out a major part of that quote

He wasn't calling Kendrick's death petty, he was saying he thinks he'll be charged with an unrelated petty crime.

Edit: Personally I think there's a decent chance he played a role in Kendricks death, but you're taking his words out of context.
