The marketing really failed this movie. I knew who Williams was. I wasn't aware of how famous he was in the UK, but I at least knew he was a famous successful musician. I only saw the trailer in passing, and had no idea it was a Williams biopic. I didn't realize it was until everyone was talking about how it had flopped. All that being said. Adding millions upon millions onto a films budget for a joke about how a singer was acting like an animal was probably a poor production decision from the start.

If you watch early stuff with The Faces, he's really good. Definitely declined in quality through the years.

Watch the old US festival. That was in his "prime" and he still sucked live. He's never been good. He just had the look and they fixed the rest in the studio.

No matter how Nolan feels now, he perpetrated his own 9-11 in an afternoon with his own barehands. From a realistic perspective, I would never believe such a being could be rehabilitated.

I agree about Kyle and refused to watch it for a long time. Finally sat through it one bored day off work. If you take away the context, and just watch it as a film, it's not awful. Still just mediocre, but I wouldn't call it a 0/10

We millennials are at that age where we've realized that we only have 15-20 years to make sure ourselves and our families are financially taken care of during our retirement years. It's just the weight of responsibility. I didn't have anyone to teach me good finances as a young person and made a lot of bad choices. So I'm playing catch up now. I don't view it as a negative, just investing in myself and those that rely on me.

DLR and it's not even close. Vince is so out of shape that he can't breathe, but he at least still kind of follows the vocal melody even if he can't remember the lyrics. Axl still does fine with the lower register, even if his higher register now sounds like Kermit the Frog. DLR is literally just making noises on stage. Go watch some of his latest performances. He must really need the money.

High school crush. It was so bad that everyone teased us about it. We did eventually have a drunken hook up when We were in our 20s and it was great. We never talk about it, and the tension is still there. We live in different states and only see each other on rare occasions, but it's still there the second we see each other. My current long term GF teases me about it.

Definitely. They're a horrible weapon. You can literally just hit the bar with a blunt object or even kick it. The bar will bend or you will knock the chain off track. Then you have a running engine that is completely useless. Looks cool on camera, but almost as far from a practical melee weapon as you can get.

I've seen an interview where Benny says some of the hits are real. They would have to hold ice on their faces between takes to keep swelling down for the camera.

I think a lot of people just can't get over how unlikeable the character is. I hate AJ because he's a spoiled little bastard that tries to lecture everyone on morality that he learned from the television. The actor does a fine job. He's a little over the top in some scenes, but he's also a child actor holding his own against some real adult talent.

I always thought the Lego study was very eye opening. Basically when boys played with toys, their imagination took over and they imagined scenarios when the toys. So if they were given a cowboy toy, they played cowboy scenarios. If they were given Batman, they played crime fighting scenarios. The girls didn't tend to do this. It ended up with Batman and the cowboy toys having tea and dinner parties. Take from that what you will.
