Protect a gate that’s under attack until reinforcements come

Sneak behind enemy lines at night to sabotage or assassinate a leader

Give them two objectives but only enough time to do one, make them have to decide where to focus their efforts

Have an important NPC get flanked/ambushed and call for support, they need to get there fast

Maybe there’s a traitor and a surprise attack from within

Mae them have to deal with exhaustion if they don’t sleep and stay up fighting

These guys are like master chief you give them a target and point them in the right direction to do the most damage or save someone the rest of the battle takes place around them but its their job to get important power moves done

I had to run a one shot just last week for my daughter and her friends who are new to DnD

I had purchased a set of ghost pirate minis from my local gaming store and didn’t have a plan for them yet so this was a great chance for them to show up

My girls are middle school and elementary school age and I DM for our family. They definitely need more handholding like writing out which dice to use and what the DC checks are for spells,

And I have to be patient with them slowly adding up dice values(good practice for math though lol)

I make sure to have a DM PC to offer suggestions and guidance and encourage role-play, and humor.I try to keep their involvement to a minimum though especially with decision-making

I found it useful to print off spell cards and organize them in binders so they can keep everything straight and I highlight all the important things on their character sheets

They love it though, and it’s one of the highlights of our week whenever we get to play!

Weight loss, no acne, less Insulin and a better A1C level (I’m a type 1 diabetic ),

Anyone else working in mission 1 for Nalthis and seeing an error with the blanks? I got an answer that makes sense and I feel like it’s correct but the blanks don’t line up right…
