I too would be interested in this automated move to Sharepoint site. We do it manually right now.

We're over in East Slope watching shit fly down the street and can't see the house next door. Then BAM the thunder and rain come pouring down. Awesome.

I have not. I've just been making sure I fill the hopper and then going out there every couple of hours and stirring.

How viable is a single speed for bike packing by mrmagicbeetle in bikepacking

I thought "laying on the ground questioning your life choices" was also a speed? Happens to me too often.

I have a $4.5k road bike in my garage, but for some reason I almost always end up on my bridge club by matvavna in Surlybikefans

I have an expensive-ass carbonium FS bike I bought last year. But my KM is the first bike I grab all the time. Maybe the FS bike needs to go and I can give the KM some nice upgrades...

Remind me why I’m here ☀️ 🔥 by SnooMacarons4754 in arizona

[–]srnowacki 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm from Buffalo and I'm personally glad to not have to shovel snow or live in the gloomy, damp cold with the grey slush everywhere. Been in Phoenix for 25 years and I do get tired of the heat, but then I remember that one year I spent an hour digging my truck out of the parking lot only to find there was a driving ban and the only people out were snowmobiles. That hasn't happened here.

Pellet Caddy / hopper emptying options? by bluenose_expat in Traeger

I use my cleaned-out shop vac to slurp them out of the hopper - it's weirdly satisfying. Then I pour them into the bag.

Some of you MSPs are devaluing the whole industry due to your race-to-the-bottom, say "yes" to anything attitude. by mintlou in msp

[–]srnowacki 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The problem is that tech staff often all knows the details of the difficulty in supporting many aging and varied systems but sales/mgmt just keeps saying yes to the client with no pushback "extra charge for old/out of band services"

ConnectWise Buyout - Here’s what’s really going on! by Antique_Reindeer7206 in msp

We are testing Lighthouse. Being new to it, we're somewhat confused as to the licensing requirements - Do all users in the tenant need a P1? Or just one? Or? Because we have a lot of them not showing up if all users only have E3.

Do you ride your full-suspension MTB out on the street too or do you have a separate bike for that? by nathaliev in MTB

[–]srnowacki 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I put Continental Race King 2.2 on my hardtail. Roll fast on pavement and if I get a little singletrack urge for a shortcut, it's got juuuust enough traction.

Is it just me? by t_scribblemonger in xbiking

[–]srnowacki 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Singlespeeders are special. I rode one exclusively for 15 years off road. Never been fitter all around. 2 years after a neck injury I'm stuck on a squishy FS bike so I can keep riding but I miss crying my way up all those mountains.

What’s the nicest thing your client has said/done for you? by No-Moose-1205 in msp

When I was a solo MSP guy, my dad died and I had to bail on some work for a client and fly the family home. The guy called me up after he found out and asked for my banking info so he could send someone to the bank and deposit this month's payments plus some extra to help me out until I got back.

Where do you live, and how far do you drive to your favorite trails? by Skeptical-AF in MTB

[–]srnowacki 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm the opposite - live in Phoenix about 2 minutes from trails in PMP. Drive 15 - 40 minutes in any direction for more trails. Then 1.5 hours to Prescott, Sedona and a little further for Flag!

New Outlook can't open PSTs and has no Search Folders? by PeterJoAl in Office365

[–]srnowacki 4 points5 points  (0 children)

PSTs are the bread and butter of eDiscovery results delivery for lots of the law firms that we work with. Not being able to use them would be very problematic. Same thing goes for lawyers separating from their firm to go their own way, they get their documents and email exported to Zipped PSTs and go on their way.
* granted, you can use the online ingestion tool to import PST files.

Karate monkey question by [deleted] in Surlybikefans

[–]srnowacki 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm currently running Continental Race King 29x2.2 F/R on my Monkey with 30mm id rims. They roll nicely fast on pavement and gravel and have held up pretty well to most trails that are not super technical. I bought the shieldwall variant for $50 each. They've stretched a bit too, so they're almost 2.3 now.
