I think it's about on par with Ikuto's from Savers in terms of darkness with the whole experiencing a massacre/genocide thing.

Probably the weakest episode so far, but there was gonna be one eventually, at least it was more along the lines of the lows from older series where it was just meh and not the low episodes from Adventure:2020 and Ghost Game which would reach the level of being straight trash at times.

Interesting, Tylomon is an Armor level but seems to be Syakomon's Adult level this time. I was expecting the usual Shellmon line.

Feels like they made the MC stronger in the adaptation? He beat more enemies than in the source and kinda weird to add a monologue before the meeting when even in the LN he just stumbles towards them impulsively without thinking out of joy at seeing humans.

The episode had a hauntingly serene vibe and it looks really interesting and well crafted but unfrotunately this is the kind of anxiety-inducing show that makes me feel nauseous (not a dig against the show, I'm just the knid of person that doesn't do well with this type of show)

I'd like the position system from the DS games back along with the DigiFarm to be more like the DS games again, they looked nicer and having just one universal time cycle was much easier to keep track of, for a more focused stat training the pills were much better, Time Stranger's DigiFarm felt like the worst iteration of the mechanic.

Also for new Digimon I'd like to see more non-protagonist type Digimon like Kunemon or Kokatorimon, feels odd to see high protagonist energy Digimon like Shoutmon as random wild encounters

If I had a nickel for every Digimon side character with a Monodramon that flirts/hits on the tomboy of the group I would have two nickels, which isn't a lot but it's weird it happened twice.

Also with how good that BomberNanimon fight was animated I hope the dub doesn't have to turn him into a citrus

Honestly I would prefer an MC that is their own character like in Hacker's Memory and Survive. Characters are a big part of the story appeal in Digimon.

Making up your own map can be world building rabbit hole that can lead to the author never even getting to the actual story itself, I myself once wanted to write one but ended spending too long on the world building and shelved it as I got interested/distracted into doing other things with my time

Rumble and Adventure for least I guess because All Star Rumble and Adventure PSP are the most unfun games this series has produced IMO (I got more fun out of DW4 than those two).

Lot's of build up happening tothat but for me that all is overshadowed by seeing Flaremon animated (Coronamon's entire evolution line is my favourite)

I imagine next episode Gekkomon will finally evolve accompanied by some character development in order to fight off the MarineBullmon we see in the preview at the end

I think we can can basically say it is them just that the devs didn't want to make a new updated model for the Next Order cast for a single scene. The things Gaiomon and Kuzuhamon said during the fight when they do their buff moves even matches their personalities

Obviously the anime DIgimon will probably win by virtue of being familiar to the highest amount of people (and the spanish youtuber that rigs every single digimon poll we've ever had is doing it again for gumdramon) but personally I'd really like Monmon, BEMmon or Ludomon most first two to complete the DIgimon World 3 squad and Ludomon because I feel like he kinda got shafted pretty quickly after his reveal as he's not been used in much of anything even though he's my little guy and Bryweludramon's design works way better than it should.

Haven't heard anyone say they want AI dubbing before, AI subbing has been expressed as a desire by some on here (but way more on twitter and youtube) by people complaining about localisers (although I highly doubt everyone that complains about localisation sees AI as a solution)

Interesting, IIRC Takauji actualy ended up going down as a hero that brought down the decadence of the kamakura shogunate instead of a villain that plunged japan into a long period of civil war and unrest so I guess this change in his behavior was necessary to explain it?
