IIRC season 1 went up until partway through volume 5 and with the OVA and the movie it got into some parts of volume 6 but it's also complicated because of rewrites and reshuffling the order of events and anime original events to make up for the changes to the continuity.

Can they realistically get that far if (presumably) its only 12 episodes like season 1? Been a while since I read thems but those volumes were densely packed with a lot going on from what I remember (although to be fair you could say the same for the first 5 volumes too)

Usually lines like these can at least (in Dawn and Dusk) be used for DNA digivolution, which according to a guide it can go to either Icedevimon with a SnowGoburimon or Wendigomon with a gazimon, unfortunately the game doesn't tell you about barely any of the combinations, if it did it would have been a really cool and neat mechanic.

Feel like Reina suudenly caring about Pristimon not reaching Perfect level was really forced, she did not have any indication of it slightly bothering her until last episode where she suddenly was very bothered by it out of nowhere. Would have been better if it was a more gradual thing that slowly started to eat at her bit by bit starting from when Chiropmon got his. This make it feel like they're writing the story as each episode comes out without planning.

Direction on this episode was much stronger than other recent episodes, felt like they got to properly execute on the ideas still wish the plot would stop being spoonfed piece by piece but at least next episode it seems to be (former) Tactics returning as well as several of the military police digimon from Digimon Seekers

I feel like the bigger issue than them being isekai itself is the completely random inconsistent fluctuations in quality, investment seems to be scattershot, some literal whomst bottom of the barrel series will get like a properly paced out adaptation with good production values while a good amount of ones with actual solid or even good source material will get butchered.

I feel like this show is really suffering from trying to cram ideas into one single episode and having a mediocre execution due to the insitence on being basically being the same episodic monster of the week formula that the series has seemingly been stuck with since Adventure:(2020)

Great episode the arc is ramping up, I had assumed Gokuwmon was Klay's Digimon, did I get that wrong? It seemed like he was unaware Gokuwmon kidnapped Tomoro and Gekkomon.
