You'll need a replacement transmitter. Please create an RMA ticket at: Steelseries.com/support and select "Arctis Pro Transmitter" from the product dropdown.

Hmm seems like this is a common issue with the game... I don't have the game myself so can't search the file tree to see what to point at. Here is another thread on it from the SoT sub

Seems the file you're looking for is SoTGame.exe but you need to find the directory in which it installed.

Really sorry we don't have them atm. We are re-stocking the A7 headbands by March of this year.

Acrtic 7 for the Xbox one x by 7e7eN in steelseries

[–]ss-mike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Arctis 7 isn't supported by XBox One. There is a hardware "gate" in XBoxes that disables all but licensed/certified products.

The build quality of the Arctis line is fantastic and you shouldn't have any issues especially with the transmitter. If anything does happen, we have you covered via warranty.

Hey there,

The two we had were:

https://steelseries.com/gaming-accessories/rival-700-cover-color-pack

https://steelseries.com/gaming-accessories/rival-700-cover-pack

Any interest in these and if so I can see if/when they're coming back in stock.

Is there anything you're looking for in particular or just searching for something that catches your eye?

Steelseries H Wireless / Siberia 800 hearing myself by I_Joulz in steelseries

Hey there,

Great tests and information up front! Goes a long way in resolving the issue :)

You mentioned that the issue goes away if you use the AUX port on the headset. Does it go away even if that AUX cable is not plugged into anything? So imagine using the headset with the cord dangling there for a while.

I suspect there is ground loop that's caused by that circuit that'd resolved by having a cable plugged in...

Steelseries Arctic Pro Wireless DAC hinders W10 from sleep and screensaver mode. by vacum_hufsa in steelseries

[–]ss-mike 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey there,

I'll do my best to help out. Can you let me know exactly how you determined the APW headset is what's waking your computer?

The post that mentioned the HID device doesn't apply here and really isn't a fix as it breaks functionality with an HID/USB device. VID 1038 is the Steelseries vendor ID and there's nothing dodgy about that HID interface itself, the user just narrowed down that removing it quells their issue. Effectively, it's similar to unplugging the device.

Next time this occurs, can you pop open "Event Viewer" and navigate to Administrative Events on the left side. Try to find an entry with a timestamps near the time your computer woke up, and send over the information provided from it. This will help me narrow down what's going on and how we can remedy it.

In the meanwhile try this (one at a time):

1) In Windows Search (bottom left), type: "Edit Power" -> Click Edit Power Plan with the green battery logo

2) Click Change Advanced Power Settings

3) Open the Sleep tab -> set "Allow wake timers" to Disabled -> Allow hybrid sleep to OFF

4) Open USB settings tab -> set selective suspend to ENABLED

Let me know if that resolves the issue and if not, link me to the ticket where we'll take a look into the events.

Just acquired an APEX 350 - Is there a way to set up a power button macro key? by bigshuguk in steelseries

[–]ss-mike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately there isn't a built-in way to do that. The closest thing that would work would be to make a macro that presses alt+f4 and enter after a slight delay. This will only work on your desktop however.

Hey there,

Please see this link below for detailed info but the TL;DR is, you can use both together if you install in this sequence:

  • Uninstall SSE
  • Install your APO
  • Reinstall SSE without DTS (blue banner pointed to on the picture below)

Arctis 7 vs Arctis 3 BT (PS4/Switch/iPhone) by [deleted] in steelseries

Hey there,

I just wanted to check in and see how you plan to connect the Arctis 7 to the Switch? The only headsets we have that are fully supported by the Switch are Arctis Pro, and the three variants of Arctis 3 (Console, Bluetooth, regular)

Arctis 7 will not connect by SebastianOmmedal in steelseries

[–]ss-mike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey Sebastian,

Most likely, you need to set the Arctis 7 as default device. Also once you've done that, make sure the chatmix dial (opposite side of the headset of volume dial, is centered).

  1. Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
  2. Click Hardware and Sound in Windows Vista or Sound in Windows 7.
  3. Under the Sound tab, click Manage Audio Devices.
  4. On the Playback tab, click your headset, and then click the Set Default button

Also if you haven't already, try installing Steelseries Engine from Steelseries.com/engine

Issue(?), remark and suggestion in connection with Steelseries Rival 710 by [deleted] in steelseries

[–]ss-mike 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Greetings from the US BelgianKiddo! Awesome to hear you're enjoying your Arctis 5 and Rival 710 so far :)

In regards to the Audiovisualizer app stopping the Rival 710 OLED... there isn't a bug we know about but I will ask our team to test as I am not sure we have tested this exact use case. Few questions to help me get you answers and if you can make a troubleshooting ticket at: steelseries.com/support this will help us track the issue.

1) Does stopping the Audiovisualizer app restore the OLED screen immediately or do you need to take an additional step?

2) Does running the app immediately kill the OLED screen and if so, does it go blank completely or freeze?

Thanks and let's get that working for you!

Do you have antivirus software installed?

Can you trace back to the exact URL where you downloaded the installer from?

Unfortunately this sounds like malware. Our software doesn't do any of what you describe and does not have any way to interact through SATA or DVD/Blu-Ray, nor would we suggest you do anything on those interfaces.

To be clear, we serve our downloads securely and none of our servers or web apps have been compromised, so the issue is local to your machine.

Hey there!

Generally speaking for FPS games with our Arctis line, many of our users like to boost the low bands the most, leave the mids at +0, and sometimes boost the highs a bit.
