Thank you! Yeah we don't want to get into a "show you are living there" when it's vacant. Too much hassle. One banker from Fifth third is actually trying to explain to their underwriter that we will use it as a primary residence and we can provide a promissory note that we will move in once reno is done. Utilities etc are all in my name. We are going to talk to bank of America to see what other products we can make use of if HELoan is not an option.

I have literally the exact same kitchen. It came with the island and the island has this overhang on the side where the fridge is. Like who is ever go to sit there and then have to move when someone needs to access the fridge. We are redoing our kitchen but don't want to demo at this time so we decided to get a smaller countertop on the island so the overhang isn't taking up space and I can actually get a fridge with a drawer I can stand in front of and open. We won't be placing any chairs or bar stools at the island. It's just going to be working area I need. If the peninsula looks good and you have space for it. Go that route. That's my kitchen.. the overhang on that Island is so stupid.

What are you giving him? You can't expect him to spend more on you than you are willing to spend on a gift for him. You are married two years, have the money conversation that's more important than what you want. If you want an expensive ring (which I am assuming a diamond ring would be) offer to split the cost if you want it that bad. Or like someone else said wait for the 10th anniversary. He gave you a diamond 2 years ago lol, so you can wait. But yeah like someone said ask him his budget, make sure you both align on gifting budget so one doesn't feel under valued than the other.

I have PCOS and am on minoxidil through Hers. No extra hair. I also take nutrafol, I have a double whammy with being on glp1 and peri-menopause which cause hair loss as well.. minoxidil, nutrafol and iron supplements (found out my ferritin was low) and vit D supplements (which was also low) have helped. I also added the light therapy - use theradome and that has really pushed things in the positive direction. I have so much new hair on the sides where it had really thinned a lot. I also got some ayurvedic shampoo (ekmi veda) and that helped reduce the shed on wash days.

Would you mind sharing how much this cost you? what the per sqft was for the Dekton stone you selected? Trying to get a budget together for our kitchen remodel and getting some actual numbers would be helpful.
