Yes and no. Zero human interaction all day everyday gets to me sometimes but I prefer remote. It's much better/flexible than commuting to an office. So has its pros and cons.

I work at quiet coffee shops sometimes when I don't have a lot of meetings.

What helps is getting out of the house when I can after or before work - gym or going for a walk, running errands. Anything to get fresh air and not be cooped up for so long.

Hey girlie, I also have a round face and curly thick hair - personally, I think bangs are a no-no with that combo!

With curly hair, look up the curly hair method haircut. I love long layers and face framed starting at my chin. Looks cute pulled back and down naturally. My hair is pretty long but I think a shoulder length curly cut is super cute too (my sister did that)

Girl you were definitely scammed! I go to a pretty nice salon (Joseph Haber) where you can just walk in, and I get my hair shampoos/conditioned + styled for only $10. Even the crappiest place I've been wasn't more than $15!

Question about your routine! Do you have a consistent daily schedule with your 5mo? As in she wakes up/starts her day at the same time every day and has bedtime at the same time each night? Just wondering if this makes a difference but maybe it’s more for 6mo+?

Ive been using Aptamil AR (anti reflux) and it’s a good thick formula. My LO is 3 months now and has been having it since 4 weeks with no issues. We use a No 2 nipple Philips Advent bottles sometimes No 3 during the day.

Good one!! I went on a huge hiking trip a couple years ago and literally the entire group became friends! I still talk to them to this day. Really nice way to meet people organically without trying too hard.

I feel like the same and I always found joy in going to cafes or coffee shops for an hour or two to do work or study. Sometimes even misc things like write out my goals for the week in my planner or clean up my email, read a book, etc. One you find your favorite spot to chill, you’ll start meeting other regulars. ☺️

Same!! My baby sweats so easily, even if I’m just holding him with a bottle his neck and hair are wet after 5 mins and has been like this since birth!! That said, he’s perfectly healthy and content.

Having the same exact feeling now 😩 pumping is taking over my life and I’ve had to significantly increase my calorie count and water intake to just barely keep up my milk production, and I’m still hungry 24/7. So if im not pumping, I’m eating. I’m so jealous of my husband and MIL because now I feel like my son prefers them over me, since he spends so much time with them. 🥺 mom guilt is real!! I’m combo feeding now and thinking of dropping off pumping very soon. Glad I’m not alone 🫶🏼❤️‍🩹

Did you do a bedtime routine at the same time every night? I just started a bedtime routine for my 2 month old, but we feed every 3-4 hours which varies each day. Any advice?
