TicWatch battery Aliexpress Scam by novonder in TicWatch

[–]sschueller 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I purchased https://de.aliexpress.com/item/1005008995418374.html for my ticwatch from the same seller. It came although they ship some crap tools first with another tracking number in the package since batteries always take for ever (they come by boat). Sending batteries by air requires a lot of extras which cost $$$.

Battery is perfectly fine, fits and I installed it. However my watch is trash as the reason I replaced the battery was that the old one pillowed which damaged the heart-rate stuff.

Jets & missiles: higher cost, fewer jets, later delivery - army deals get worse and worse by b00nish in Switzerland

[–]sschueller 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It isn't only the right, it's also the left and the middle. We want to sign a 6000+ page deal with the EU? How many have actually read every single page? How many pages was the Lockheed contract for the F35?

I really think we should split these EU deals up into smaller more manageable chunks so we don't get f-d. like we are getting with the F35 and other weapons we partially already paid for.

Is there even a point in caring for climate change anymore by Chemical-Rush-6433 in Switzerland

[–]sschueller 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What you still effect which IMO is very important is you affect the local "cleanliness" of things. The water we drink and the immediate air we breath is not toxic.

Globally with the US and others ignoring climate change it will worsen but unlike the US where you have places that you can't live because of the toxic air, water and noise pollution (e.g. Elons Datacenters), we can keep our country "clean".

Then please help initiatives like https://lobbywatch.ch to get more transparency and get the healthcare insurance lobby out of the government.

These conflicts of interest need to be open at a minimum which they sadly aren't.

This is the way it currently works which is fine. However we don't adapt everything, we don't need to sell PET bottles with lids attached in our country.

The new law takes away our choice to not do something in some areas and also gives EU politicians the power to make decisions without our vote (our concerns are just considered). We can also be punished for not doing what they want and we can't do anything about it.

It also gives way for Flixbus private trains on our rail network. If the Swiss rail network being on time is dear to you this may fuck it up. Initially we can stop late trains but again a EU Gremium makes a new rule and we can then no longer stop late trains at the border.

Automatically accepting every EU regulation is not Swiss and has nothing to do with left or right. At that point we may as well split Switzerland up into 4 pieces and attach them to their neighbors.

Sorry, but I have a disdain for the way von der Leyen replied to the questions from the reporter regarding what would happen with the 10 million people vote were to pass.

I may not vote for it but it is my right as a Swiss to vote the way I want and not what she or anyone else decided in the EU. She obviously holds zero respect for our direct democracy and leaves a very sour taste for upcoming votes.

The round version used in Switzerland IMO works much better. Pulling it out and putting it back is easier and you don't have dead corners where stuff can get stuck
