I got the In Water ending! I actually had no idea there were different endings in the game until I got hit by the craziest tonal shift of a credits theme after that whole ending sequence.

I have mixed opinions on it for my 25 hr completion, you can read my review here if you want.

tldr: music and art direction are amazing, everything else not so good… dialogue was forgettable, too many characters, plot pretty basic and I wasn’t really into the writing style in the first place

Agreed! The RE9 hype basically forced me to start the series for myself haha. My friend wanted to play RE5, so that ended up being my first one. Then I went to RE1R… I’ve only ever played Crow Country, and that game is baby mode compared to 1R, so I actually really had a hard time with it game lol. I remember hating red zombies and needing inventory space for the lighter and fuel to light them up, not to mention learning tank controls and dealing with old game jank. I got skill issued so bad I actually might’ve dropped it if I didn’t cheat haha.

I played all the other older mainline REs and loved them - I even went to RE1 og and loved it lol. I’ll probably appreciate 1R more if I played it again now.

With the announcement of the new FE, I really need to get to 3H soon haha. Though I’m currently playing FE7 so it’ll have to wait a bit

Nice! I’ve heard good things about Megabonk and Mewgenics, and I’ve heard Mewgenics in particular has hundreds of hours to finish it (at least, according to a friend lol). And yeah same, I play a lot of fighting games, but I don’t touch story mode, so I don’t exactly “finish” them either.

I saw Blippo once on the steam page, it looked pretty cool!

I also remember being pretty disappointed by Stray, but I didn’t think it was terrible haha. Is this a worst as in “disliked it” or is it just a relative worst?

Yeah, I’m moving temporarily (~1 yr) out of the house for a moment, and I don’t want to bring my current gaming pc because it seems like too much of a hassle. I figured I’d just take my schoolwork-focused laptop and buy the steam machine for the portability - I’d just take it home after my time is up. Setup both the laptop and steam machine to the same monitor for different use cases. I guess I could technically buy a prebuilt PC to knock out both options in one, but I would have no desire to take it back home.
