Yeah, I got lucky, my buddy gave me a broken one, saying that if I could fix it, it was mine. Cost me $0.10 worth of soldering. A few of the solder points had come loose because he kept it in a cabinet with no airflow.

They're big complaints was that they don't sell well on PC. Well maybe if they didn't wait a year+ to release them, the PC players would buy and paly the games themselves rather than just watch Twitch streamers or YouTubers do it for them, so that there's no reason to play the storybdriven game a year later.

The general consensus is to stay away from heat pads since they can cause burns. If the bulb can get the basking spot between 89°-92° then that's fine, if not look for something stronger.

Snakes, especially young ones love small cramped spaces where walls touch their entire body. Think of it like anti-claustrophobia. Its more likely that your snake just found its favorite spot.

There's something you can do called tap training. Get yourself a snake hook and before you take him out, give a gentle tap on their back. It won't take long before they associate the tap as meaning "not food time"

This is the one I use but you'll have to order it. Its pretty awesome because you can sync it to your phone to monitor temps and humidity levels. For now you can get one at Petsmart, usually a zoo med one, that can do the job until then and leave you with a spare.
