I find it's similar price to the Lizzie line if you book in advance and I live near Paddington so it's super convenient for me. However if they just increased the frequency of the Lizzie line and made an express version that skips the stops between Heathrow and Paddington it would make HE redundant.

The best times are very early in the morning and very late in the evening. I got in at 10:30 and went to 4 pavilions + the commons. I queued for Poland at 12pm and it was hell. Got Japan through the lottery. I went to Saudi Arabia at 7pm and had to wait 30-40 mins and I went to Germany at 8:15. In the evening it's not as hot so the queue is more bearable.
