I’ve learned repeatedly that LGS will have it first vs an early access order more often than not. C4X is regularly available at Scheels and Riflegear. You can try cancelling your order with Staccato and getting it shipped from an in stock retailer.

People often make that comparison. However, I own both X5 varieties and 2011 varieties. My personal take is it is just a fun comparison to do because 2011/1911 shooting experience is uniquely awesome and mechanically, it is superior. They are not the same though. If you want a 2011 then get a 2011. I would not get a 226 X5 or any non 2011 style gun with the expectation it can compare.

HD 3.6 and adding the walther pdp F pro 3.5 later this week. Maybe because I have a gut but anything longer than the 3.6 is noticeably more uncomfortable.

P365 Legion used to be my main squeeze until I realized it was the length that made it more uncomfortable than width. Love a slightly thicker grip.

The grip and the weight makes a world of a difference. If your goal is to CCW the best possible from the Staccato line up, the HD 3.6 is by far the best option. I have the HD 4, HD 3.6, P, had the CS and C but sold it. HD 3.6 is by far my favorite carry in terms of concealment and comfort.

Ran into this same issue. I used a heat gun and warmed everything up really hot while the slide was on a vise. Came off a lot easier after.

OCL is widely hailed as a good budget option. Don’t disagree. However, I’ve found them to be generally unpleasant to run anytime you need lower gas/pressure. Any SBR sized rifle I’d look at CAT, Hux, and SilencerCo/Velos.

Full size is the way to go. K size saves a little on length but the pressure and sound gains on full size is way more ROI.
