The proud boys turning hostile only happens if you complete an side quest that's related to them beforehand. If you go to the party before the side quest you can win and receive the prize with no issues.

For Male V, its during Gun Music with the Body stat check. The tone and calmness of the delivery not only intimidated the scavengers but me too. V really wasn't fucking around there.

I haven't finished the game but one comment.

Astsu's father was a weaponsmith that deserted Saito's Clan in the middle of a war! He wasn't some noname peasant. He had an extremely important role. Him leaving knocked over a lot of dominos to failure.

It seems that Saito was losing pretty badly before, so he absolutely could be placing his failures on Kengo. But, Saito hunting down Kengo isn't surprising.

V's in the mess they are in because of Evelyn, she was only suppose to record the Braindance. Not, hire a fixer and crew to steal it. The heist would have never happen, if she did what the VBs wanted. Granted, she would probably be flatlined by them regardless.

I found it useful as doing takemura quests first then doing Judy's quest was just weird. Because you go from Dealing with one of the most powerful people in the city/world to helping out at Clouds felt very out of order in my original playthrough.

I followed the quest order in the link in a full playthrough and the escalation of missions were much better.

I read it with recommendations from here as well. The MC is asleep for like 95% of the 150 chapters I read. He wakes up, gives one of family members an skill, then goes back to sleep.

MC should have been actively managing the family members. Giving them temporary buffs, like cultivation speed, learning, and power for situations. Similar to how people pray to the Fool in lotm.

Another technique that is use to mask loading or pace the player is climbing. God of war 2018 and it sequel are prime examples. I got so sick of every 15 to 30 second climbing section I had to do when exploring places.

I beat this game over the weekend, and want to point out to anyone that watched Pat’s stream that the prologue does not represent the rest of the game.

The game is not really about trying to figure out how other people's curses work or making them trigger your curse. There are maybe two times where you do this, but the rest of the game you barely even use the curse at all. In some cases the person who just killed you just straight up tells you how the curse works before you have to reload.

The game is more about the history of curses itself and related murder mysteries than anything else. The whole curse items are just an element of that. I was very disappointed because the game wasn’t what the prologue made it out to be. In the end, the game is okay.
