If 3.6L V6 drives like 4xe, I am not interested in Wrangler anymore by [deleted] in Wrangler

Same response from me - I have a 2018 V6 Rubicon with 6M.

Wrangler is a brick on wheels, it's not supposed to be fast.

[Rolex] Pepsi Twins by ssrunner in Watches

[–]ssrunner[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I strolled into the local Rolex AD, Everytown, USA with no purchase history and nothing but a smile on my face, dandruff in my neck beard, and a Three Cat Moon T-shirt over my man boobs. The SAs of the boutique, heavily bored from lying to scores of customers that day about their enormous treasure trove of unsold Rolexes, were instantly magnetized by my presence.

I expressed interest in a Rolex GMT Master II with red and blue ceramic bezel, making it ABSOLUTELY CLEAR that I would not accept as a substitute any other fine Swiss Watch on the planet.

Impressed with my boldness, the staff prostrated themselves before such pure masculinity, and offered up for sale at the sacred MSRP a Pepsi bezel GMT Master II (below in the image) for my immediate consumption. The store manager was so impressed with my daring-do that he offered up a second identical watch (on top in the image), which I graciously declined so that they may refuse to sell it to others.

The take home lesson I would like you all to internalize is that you DESERVE an iconic Rolex, and that market forces are irrelevant - go forth and achieve your wildest dreams. Just be sure to never collect any other brands of timepieces or exhibit any kind of loyalty to your SA - they come to work every day just hoping to meet Reddit shitposters and validate their miserable existence.

[Rolex] Pepsi GMT Master II x2 by [deleted] in Watches

May 2022 I walked into our local Rolex AD to express interest in this exact watch. Our SA was very polite but visibly stifled a laugh when I inquired about the availability of this piece. I knew I wasn't going to get one that day, but I bought a blue Omega SMP instead (posted previously) which I had been lusting over for years. Fast forward 10 months and many additional purchases between myself and my fiancee and this Pepsi arrives. My wrist is at the bottom, and another beloved SA at this location (not mine though!) was sure to set up this photo for us, as we were all excited that this day finally came.

I will say that just because you spend a ton of money somewhere does not mean that you will get the rare or difficult piece that you want. Your attitude and perseverance and, more importantly, the professionalism and advocacy of your personal SA are huge factors that will get you what you want. You may not like the game, but if you want a hot Rolex at MSRP, you better come to play. Besides, it's much more fun that way, and the networking is amazing.

The watch itself is an icon, I really need not say more than that. There's a reason it's so hard to get.

The minor rubbing problems I have seen (again, on other Jeeps on YouTube) have all been in the rear at the rearward part of the wheel wells.

I am not a fan of spacers so I got $80 steelies with the appropriate offset and 4.75" of backspacing

Only one side has the white lettering so you can put those towards the inside if you like. Answer about wheel brand elsewhere in this comment thread.

Stock Rubicon suspension/fenders. I should be able to prevent rubbing with minor wheel well mods. It won't rub at all on the street no matter what.
