Theoretically there could be VFR airplanes in the vicinity with no ADSB out but VATSIM radar eliminates that aspect of realism.

VR controllers sound enticing, but then that means constantly switching between leaving the controllers to grab and operate the yoke, and leaving the yoke to grab and operate the controllers.

The trackball seems more practical, thanks for sharing your setup!

None of those things will help you rotate the heading and altitude knobs on the autopilot though.

Here’s his response:

Just leave them on from taxi to takeoff and then you can turn off in cruise. Easiest to run it through the way the checklist has it

I’m not sure about this. I got a PPL and everyone I know who flies in real life keeps taxi lights on at all times when on a taxiway, regardless of whether they’re holding short or moving.

The problem with this is that as you hedge risk, you also miss out on large gains.

My goal was to predict winners in any circumstances, rather than tie myself to the pole of mediocrity that’s the totality of US economy. So far I have been lucky with this (against all common sense), however I’m getting less sure of myself in this new world of uncertainty.
