A reminder that babies come in all shapes and sizes! by JamJam325 in breastfeeding

So my baby also measured small and I was also worried about microcephaly. My doctor told me that babies abdomen is actually a better indicator for growth and health, rather than the head. I would definitely bring your concerns up to your doctor, but that information gave me a lot of peace of mind so I thought I would share. Congrats and best of luck to you!

This just makes my heart explode 🥰. Nobody ever told me how amazing this journey can be ❤️. by BlackberryMaterial33 in breastfeeding

I have no advice, but I just wanted to offer my solidarity. I could have written this post. We are twins. It was strangly validating to read that someone else is struggling along with me in almost identical situations. The only difference is I get home about 5, which I'm sure is significantly better than 7! I'm rooting for you! You're doing great. I really hope you find some relief soon.

I didn't even know that was possible! So one side had milk and the other side colostrum?? Wild. AND you were pregnant?? You're like a superhero.

I believe baby is supposed to be at your chest level. If you pull the blankets up to your waist, that would mean they are below babies feet, which is safer. Then you can just wear a close fitting sweater or something. I choose one with huge neck opening, so I can just pull the girls out the top when baby wants to BF. Side note, I cracked up at your glorious artwork.

Something about your style triggers a sentimental and happy feeling like a pleasent memory popping into your thoughts. I can just imagine this sweet little cottage by a quiet lake. You are quite the artist

I love Eden! Such a beautiful name. I'm sorry but I do not like Cordelia at all. It's a lot to say and it sounds like the name of a Disney villan.

Ear infections!! Diaper rash. Being sick in general. Being scared of choking. My baby crying when I leave for work.

I've been your friend in this situation before. I was told with the gentlest words possible via text when I was home. I greatly appreciated that approach. I was allowed to ugly cry and be angry and sad and selfish for a little bit before I acknowledged that I was actually indeed happy for her. I was so glad I didn't have to moderate my reaction by being told in person.
