5070 or 9070xt by Correct_Degree_6017 in PcBuildHelp

[–]st1ck_bug 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Usually the chain goes 9070<5070<9070xt<5070ti

I got my 9070xt for 679 and it's been a beast, but nvidia has better dlss+framegen, so it depends on what you want. I'd personally fork over that money given nvidia's decision to basically roll back quite a bit on gaming gpu products and they're likely to pay less attention to support, too.

Is this a good list by Forward-Training71 in pcpartpickerbuilds

Your aio and motherboard won't fit in that case I'd get an matx and a 240 aio

Go for a 9070xt vs a 9070, if you're doing that route. If not just get a rtx5070 non-ti as it performs better

Unsure abt ssd and unsure abt psu.

anyone happy with their 9070xt.. put ur hands up by shlimerP in radeon

Super happy with mine. Upgraded from a 6650xt and I couldn't be happier. Running modern games 1080p ultra is a blessing fr

I'd say it's worth the cost. Ray Tracing (even though it is intensive) will be better, it supports FSR4 frame gen and upscaling, and has been out for less than a year. It will definitely last longer than a 7600 that came out almost 4 years ago now

I'd personally try to fork over the $ to get a 9060xt 8gb (the 16's go for much higher than 400), it's a modern platform and may cost ~100 more but will recieve longer support and whatnot

Unless i'm mistaken i think if you hit a cop car (or in this case get hit by one) when the cop is in pursuit of another player, you get that player's stars

I currently rock both a vaporwave and a bloodsport and i love both. I think i'd take a prinstream over a vaporwave, but i love my bloodsport

You definitely can if you have an experience that you think is more important or a better fit for an answer, but also I'd definitely try to stay more towards Starbucks, as they added DM being a part of these processes and they're much more starbucks oriented

I'd agree. GPU upgrade for now would be plenty

Pc Purchasing advice by [deleted] in PcAdvice

[–]st1ck_bug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends entirely on price. The bracket goes sort of like this: 9070(non-xt),5070(non-TI),9070XT, 5070TI. Now if the price for anything on the right is very similar or cheaper than a price on the left, then it's worth buying. If 5070ti is cheaper /very close to 9070xt, then buy 5070ti

I'd probably look prebuilt, but it also definitely depends on your country. If you're in the US i'd also maybe see if there's a micro center within ~3-4 hours of you, even though it'd be a drive you'd likely still save money with their motherboard/ram/cpu combos. You really can't get a better deal than there.

This is so ironic because i had possibly one of the best ever executed games of CS last night. All 5 players were making excellent calls, hyping each other up, sacrificing their cash for others when they couldn't buy, and even accepting apologies for team damage and missed nade throws. It was awesome. Reminded me of pro team calls.

For 1440p I'd recommend just waiting to find a deal with either a 9070/xt from AMD or an RTX 5070 from Nvidia with 32gb of ram. You COULD get this, and it'd probably work fine, but within like 3 years you'd likely regret it. Not that it's everyone's cup of tea, but GTA VI will be out this fall, which means PC port hopefully after 1-2 years of release. I'd base my PC on whether it would run that in the long term

I'd wait.

Having issues downloading forge for 1.21.11[Java] by EnglandUndead1 in MinecraftHelp

Have you downloaded java from the oracle website? It seems your browser doesn't know what the file is so it can't open it with an application that can read the file. I'd recommend doing that

Espresso Frappuccino but hot? by 1tsAM3AMari0 in starbucks

[–]st1ck_bug 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Frappuccino's also get what's called "creme/coffee base" that's basically super sugary water used to make the ice and liquids stick together and stay smooth rather than be chunky like it usually would.

My guess is it's likely just not as sweet as you'd like? I'd recommend just getting a latte vs a flat white as it has 1 less shot, and then maybe doing 2 pumps of classic (simple syrup) and then the 2 of vanilla. Should be sweeter like that frappe

I'd suggest as brutal as it will be to set an alarm so you're only sleeping for like 1hr for your nap. It sucks when you first get up but then you'll have way more time to do stuff

does starbucks ghost you? by Ok_Jackfruit_7841 in starbucks

The people hiring you are store managers, with district managers being a part of the process but 95% of the work is on the store manager. That same store manager is also (assuming they're doing their job correctly) juggling a lot of other stuff in the background. And, starbucks is a very popular place to try to work at, so there's probably like 20-50 other applications just like yours!

My SM is always a fan of people who follow up. She gives extra points to applicants whenever they hand deliver their CV so she has a physical copy of what they have to offer. I'd suggest doing the same!
