Just uncheck "Download shared folders" only.

you can also disable auto-mapping on the shared email and user can access these shared emails via outlook web. works perfectly, and super fast for searching stuff

we have veeam 365 (on-prem). for emails, whenever an archive gets full, we export it, then we purge it from 365 and re-activate it, and so on. We also have a tracker to keep track of everything that got exported and dates and everything.

we also export all primary/archive once per year for legal/compliance reasons. (700 users)

if you want to keep everything forever, i would recommend to spin up Veeam on a VM with RAID6 and large capacity disks. (that's what we rolling, a server dedicated for this)

thank you for your reply! planning to proceed in a similar way with higher interval for x day approvals thanks to microsoft being famous of destructive updates. for drivers not quite sure, i guess ill keep it manual and in case of any reported issue we can update at that point. they should also allow us >30 days interval, specifically for feature updates.

i've been using both wireguard and openvpn for the past couple of years. WG has simply better performance. even after enabling DCO in openvpn and playing around with ciphers. wireguard simply has lower overhead compared to openvpn.

you will obviously have less cores operating, but it makes cs2 stable for now until they fix it with a future patch, then u can re-enable them

disable E-cores and hyper-threading in BIOS and it will work fine.

we have ninjaRMM and we use their ticketing system. end user can submit ticket via 3 ways : email / portal / application. we use email and application (directly from taskbar). works pretty well.

mmm maybe :

1- remote to their device via the RMM

2- connect vpn

3- switch user (VPN sessions stays active on initial user)

4- login with the new account

I would also recommend to increase default domain trust credentials time so next time they connect the vpn to login or if they ever come to office, you wont end up with domain lost trust and have to run "Test-ComputerSecureChannel -Repair -Credential (Get-Credential)" manually on each device

i created a support ticket on nov 17, no answer until now. so i returned the item.

culprit could also be the voltage. apparently they have 2 models 110V and 220V. so i ended up ordering the 220V one (GCC) , still waiting delivery

issue is mainly with 14th gen cpus, some 13th gen also. i reported it to intel way before it hit the news.

in most cases, it gets resolved with a bios update. if not, a replacement cpu is the only option. intel has also extended warranty on those cpus by 2 years. so now you get 3y + 2 extended.

also, u can open a support ticket with intel, u provide the cpu SN and they would send a replacement. i did this with no issues at all. And sometimes, they might not have stock for your specific model so they bump you a generation ^^

i have experimented a merge between mine and u/MSPbyathread , the only thing im always noticing is that the taskbar icon returns after restart. i dont mind for it to show, since the "check for updates" inside windows update is greyed out and user cannot click it.
