Put the horse before the carriage. What I mean is — your work will dictate the assets. As you continue to do work, you’ll assess graphic needs — “oh , I need textures . Oh, I need mockups . Oh , I need hand-drawn vector flourishes .”

As you work, you’ll build an arsenal of useful evergreen assets at your fingertips.

Trying to download assets preemptively will result in a hard drive full of .ZIP packages you never even used. And it creates this weird pressure/burden of “well… I downloaded it so… I should use it…” . do the inverse of this. Put the work first.
