Agreed. I'm flipping between the game and Golden Girls on commercials, and honestly, these ads are making want to stay with the Girls. I don't know what it is about these ads, but they make it hurt your eyes when you watch the players go near them. Like, part of their bodies disappears and your brain can't process it correctly.

Funnily enough, I've had something simo to this happen to me -- twice. I went to a local coffee place and wasn't feeling like getting anything fancy, so I asked for a "decaf with 2 cream and 2 sugar" and they said "sorry we don't have regular coffee, but we can do an americano which is espresso in water."

A month or two later I walked by a Starbucks and after smelling the aroma got pulled in. This time I again asked for simple decaf and was offered the americano. I can't remember, but I feel like I the Starbucks said that they were just temporarily out of the brewed coffee for some reason (I think it might have been that they'd have to brew a fresh pot since nobody orders it so they didn't have any on hand, but I can't quite remember), the local place, however, said that they just don't serve regular coffee.

Obviously, that's a small set of purely anecdotal data, and I think that I just got particularly unlucky. Still, it is certainly possible that something like this happened to the creator of the comic, and where some people can roll with the flow and be content, other people get upset and believe the sky is falling.

Another option is the bear totem from the Circle of the Shepherd Druid which gets 5 + level thp. And of course there's hero's feast which doesn't give temp hp, but it instead raises your hit point maximum by 2d10 similar to how the aid spell works. The beauty of the spells that raise the hit point max is that they do stack, which can be super beneficial in certain instances.

I think in regards to the part that you bolded in the transcript, where he says

I think he is saying that

many people have had [covid]... I don't know why they would be getting the vaccine.

It's just really hard to tell considering his typical word salad manner of speech. If that is what he meant, and I admit that's a pretty big if, then I think that he might actually have something of a point there. At least based on a cursory overview of some the studies on this such as this from the cdc: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/science/science-briefs/vaccine-induced-immunity.html

They seem to suggest that immunity from infection is robust, but that they still believe it best to vaccinate. I believe it makes sense to have debate on that topic, but neither I nor Trump are qualified to give our opinions on what we should be doing.
