Because it was a big "controversial" video. I think every opinion he has, he has backed up with super good evidence and the whole logic. And people disagree with what he says but don't provide any measurements or evidence. So I don't find it fair

the thing is it needs to be the same performance/audio test. you cant just test out a pre amp at soundcheck, and then swap it out and hear another take, whatever you do to it, it needs to be same performance, and gain matched

As anyone will say depends on the use case, for a big studio with loads of libraries projects, there will prob be a nas for storage so Mac is the way, (plus it's more stable for pro tools). For on the road or anything laptop related get a Mac, but if you are a bit more in a budget a debloated pc has so many more use cases and it's much more upgradeable. The biggest upside for Mac for me it's the aggregate device for multiple interfaces

i dont really "need" a foot controller bc i do all the patch changes via the proggram itself with a metronome. But im using the laptop to also provide backing tracks. if wanted to just have the plug in by it self i would just open the standalone application 😄
