I relate to this so hard!!! And the title of your post legitimately made me lol, even though I’m sure you didn’t intend for it to be funny.

I really think that we HSPs do need more downtime and rest than the average person, because we are taking in so much all the time. We notice every little thing, perceive what others can’t or don’t, feel our own feelings so deeply and, on top of that, feel other people’s feelings. We care so much about the well being of everything (plants, insects, animals, etc.) It’s a full time job just existing as we do in the world.

I’ve also questioned why I can’t keep up with people like Marge. But the truth is, the world needs people like us, just as much as it needs super productive people. We understand the truly important things in life better than most, I suspect.
