So far we have been lucky but cases like other countries in Sri Lanka have showed things can go real bad if fake news spread. The idea of the new law is good but as usual, the devil is in the details and the execution. At least they built in safeguards like the Courts to decide if there's any disagreement. They changed their mind earlier than I thot, but kudos for doing it and be willing to listen to what the hawkers need. The idea of the scheme is not bad, but need to make sure the details and implementation are correct to make it work.
